When Raina turned to look at Minella, she noticed dark patches on her hand and face that appeared to be the result of blood clotting.
"Why does Minella's body have these patches?" As she stroked Minella's hand, Raina questioned.
"This is what I wanted to ask you," Molly continued, rolling the sleeve of Minella's other hand to check. She quickly inquired, "Did she fall somewhere and injure herself?" as her eyes widened at discovering the similar spot on her other hand.
Holding Minella's hand in her hand tenderly Raina exclaimed, "no!" with a face that looked like it was about to burst into tears.
"Then how are there so many clotting bruises on?" Molly inquired further with a confused face.
Putting Minella's hand on her cheek as she kissed her hand, Raina said in a low voice, "I really don't know why." as she sat in front of Minella. Even though her hand was gently stroking over Minella's head as she gave a helpless glare to Molly.
Molly initially suspected Raina was hiding something because she had been acting strangely earlier, but now that she was looking at the pitiful eyes, which could burst into tears at any moment, she felt somewhat guilty for doubting Raina.
"Well don't worry about anything, Raina, you are in luck," she murmured softly as she took one plant out of the herb basket in an attempt to help her.
"Today, I stumbled upon a ginkgo plant, which is ideal for clotting. I suggest grinding it first, then boiling it in water so Minella can consume some of it. Alternatively, you might apply some powdered paste to the area of Minella's body that was bruised. I anticipate she will recover in two to three days after doing that."
"Take these from here. Apply on her two to three times per day," she explained as she handed Raina the plant.
"OK," Raina responded bluntly.
She gave Minella's face another quick scan before shifting her attention to Raina and said, "Hey, don't worry, she'll be good like before. This plant is actually incredibly powerful."
Without averting her sight from Minella, Raina answered, nodding her head and speaking stutteringly, "I hope so."
Molly walks towards the basket and holds it in her hand again as she hesitantly gazes at Raine while speaking, "Now my work is done. I am leaving. It's almost time for work. "
Raina became jolted as she thought about time and abruptly pulled her head to take a glance at the clock as she spoke in a wavering voice, "Yes it is. I will be joining you in a moment."
When Molly turned to go, she grinned broadly and said, "You are free to take your time and take care of Minella. I'll get your tasks covered in the meanwhile."
Hearing her phrases made Raina's eyes, which were, in reality, unhappy, appear a little brighter, and she politely answered, "Thank you, Molly," while forcing a grin.
Molly puffed with a disdainful sneer as she replied "Don't mention it. I hope Minella gets better quickly. I don't like your sad expression", she said as she locked the door with her legs before departing.
As the door closed, stillness immediately filled the space.
Raina put her palm to Minella's cheeks and said, "Now that I have some time, let's ground the herb and apply it to Minella." then she raised her arm in the air and knotted her hair. After fixing her hair, she took the time to consider what had happened the night before.
'That guy really healed my hand, and I think he also healed my body because I definitely felt my ribcage breaking after being thrown by Minella.'
She thought as she adjusts her body in an exercising position, "I guess I should have thanked him for curing my injuries." She stretched her arms in the air before suddenly stopping to stare at Minella. In a mournful voice, she whispered, "But why is she still unconscious?"
"I think he did something to her in order to heal her while he cast the magic. But why does her body have these patches? Why is she still this way? Didn't that wizard say he cured her then?" She complained while furiously contorting her face.
She slurred her mouth as she spoke, "I really didn't like him from the moment I saw him. If Minella's worse condition is even a little related to that guy's magic, then I swear I will defiantly kill him for making my Minella like this if I see his face again."
"Did you miss me, miss Raina?" scornful smirk giggles from the window.
Rufus's voice suddenly appeared from the window, startling Raina, who was standing just farther away from it, showing her back.
She exhaled quickly, gathered her composure, and questioned softly, "Why are you back again?"
"Now you don't seem angry at all," Rufus said, his face amazed while leaning back against the wall, his legs crossed. "I think you have become accustomed to my presence," he continued, twisting his mouth into a smug smile as he grasped his chin with one hand.
With her face forming a fake grin and her teeth clenched, Raina responded in a grating voice."Thank you for reminding me that your presence is an eyesore; now would you be kind enough to tell me why you have returned."
Rufus clapped his hand without making a sound. "I never thought that you were this talented at cursing people while making a smiling face." as he twisted the right corner of his mouth downward.
Raina flutters her eyes, and she smiles mockingly and reverts back to her face as blunt as she said, "I will take it as a compliment. Now I guess you won't tell me why you are here. Then it's better for me to ignore your presence. " After saying that, she turned around and held the herb in her hand in an attempt to grind it.
But before she could do anything, Rufus spoke in a blunt voice, "If I were you, I would not have put those herbs on that person's body."
As those words ring in her ears, she instantly frosts and asks, "Why?" What's wrong with these herbs? "
He replied in a calm voice, "No, nothing wrong with these herbs" and added further, while folding his hand near his chest, as he tilted his head a little while giving a devilish smile, "Just this will help her die early if you put it on her body."
As she heard those words, her mind became blank all of a sudden, and she dropped the plant to the ground.
"Why did you say that?" she asked in her stuttering voice.
But he still gave her a reply in a calm voice with a smiling face, "because these are lethal for her."
"What the hell is wrong with this guy? How can he say something scary words with a smiling face?" The grooves between her eyes have really become deep now.
She stares at him with her face twisting with irritation as she mutters, "I swear I really want to kill him now."
