Entry no 2.
It's day 10 since I arrived in this world, and so far, there has not been any misfortune, which is good.
I have not gone hunting, and instead, just stayed at the castle to increase my combat capability.
I Trained, went dungeon diving, and trained again. Right now, I am level 17, and I still have not assigned any stat points, but due to the training, my stats are as follows.
Strength: 27
Dexterity: 30
Agility: 34
Defense: 22
Constitution: 22
Intelligence: 41
Wisdom: 57
Training regime:
Strength training is pretty straightforward, you just lift weights for some time, and it increases, but I found out that doing too much of it, is not good. It gives you a 'Torn muscle' debuff, lowering your attack speed by 10%, so I heeded the warning.
For dexterity, the training is much harder, I tried to juggle wooden balls while evading attacks, and that seems to do the trick, but you can also try cup stacking, target practice, and projectile parrying to increase it as well. And, it increases while you are trying to reduce magic casting speed as well! I also used crafter while juggling, to increase difficulty, and crafter leveled up! It was a nice cherry on top.
Agility, Run like hell, do parkour, practice kicking, jump over obstacles, wear leg weights, there's a lot of ways to increase agility, and I have been doing most of them. Out of all my stats, agility and wisdom have been raised the highest.
Increasing Defense is a boon for masochists. The only times my defense has increased is during the training when I'm either hitting something, or getting hurt. Surely there has to be a better way. I have been trying to see if either Ki or Battle Aura could help with permanent enhanced durability of my skin and muscles, but so far, nothing has come up.
Constitution. This has been the hardest to raise, but only because I still don't completely understand it. it just increases randomly during physique training, so I assume that it is related to the overall fitness of the body.
Intelligence just needs patience, and pain tolerance to grow, you only need to fill your body with mana till it feels like you are going to explode, then let a bit of mana go, when the pain increases again, let more go, repeat this till you feel comfortable with the mana present inside your body.
Wisdom, This is the easiest, yet the most dangerous stat to raise.
The only thing needed to do, is utilize mana, but not use spells that you already have. I have done that a lot, and in the process, injured my self quite a bit, even with my eyes seeing the mana. I cannot imagine how difficult it must be to control mana when you can only faintly feel it.
Speaking of controlling mana, my mana manipulation skill, has evolved into 'Mana control', an intermediate skill, and along with that, I have also gotten 'Wind manipulation', 'Mana construct', and quite a few more spells and skills as well. And due to my over-training, all of my other skills have had their levels shooting up like a rocket! Not even kidding, It took me three hours to get Ice spike to level 8.
I have made an obstacle course inside of the training hall, to improve balance and speed, along with thin lanes that need to be traversed while getting shot at with arrows, and I even managed to recreate Dodgeball! Everyday, I wake up, train, eat, train again, clear 'Bloody ruins', train my troops, take a break, train my eyes, eat, take a break, train, sleep. This has been my routine since day seven, and I have gotten rapid progress in many areas.
Dungeon:
I have gotten 4 Fragments now, and two of them fit with each other, I also managed to find a depression that may just fit the fragments, and from the looks of it, I need 3 pieces more to complete it. I really am curious to see what will happen when I fit them together. it remains to be seen.
Soon I will also challenge the Undead Jungle and see what it has to offer.
Surroundings:
I still have not seen what the orchard that the mages told me about has to offer, since I forgot about it. I will take a look at it within the next few days, after all, it can wait a bit. The thing that requires more attention is the fact that almost everyone who has gone out has noticed, the wolves, they are more concentrated towards the north-east. There is a high probability that their den or something like that is located in that direction.
Inventory:
Reward for breaking through level 10 was the 'Inventory', From what I can tell, it has a max storage space of one cubic meter, not a lot, but it is good enough. I can seemingly put any item in there, however, since I don't have many unique items to compare, I cannot be sure about that fact. There also does not seem to be a weight limit, since I could pack it full with ultra-compressed stone. Hey, maybe it can be useful for material transfer.
That's all that comes to mind right now, except for the fact that Jason is still training like crazy, and the fact that all my troops, including the mages have broken through level 10. Except for the mages, I told the rest to save their stat points in case of emergencies, same as I am doing.
Tomorrow, I will be using crafter to fly, hopefully that goes well, if it does, then I will have a pretty good map of the surrounding area, maybe I will find some player castles as well, but that's for tomorrow, for now this is it.
Entry End.
