Falling to his knees, Gawain felt as if his brain was being torn apart. Apart from the grunts of pain, he didn't have the strength to speak a single word in response.
'Traitor!'
That word was all he could think about. Looking at the intruder's face, his mind had unearthed an endless source of rage.
"Press this nerve if you want to live."
Ares pointed towards the left side of his neck.
'Traitor.'
'He isn't trustworthy.'
"Your soul might hate me, but it has more vitriol for someone else. Dying right here will only push your objective further."
Gawain didn't understand him and continued to ignore his command. Ares clicked his tongue, saying,
"Alright then. Die."
The guardian knight smiled, displaying an evil grin that sent a chill down Gawain's spine.
"After all, a man who doesn't value his own life, won't ever find its value in the hearts of others."
