Flipping through books recording the past few centuries of this town called Bellmere, Gawain was starting to get a strong impression that this place was not that interesting.
Most of the income comes from selling out wood, animal fur, and milk to the other territories or the capital, but the production was nowhere near the top producers in the field. Their taxes were also very low, and proper barter was prevalent for the exchange of commodities instead of money, and they didn't engage in proper trading for other goods.
"The town coffers should lack the necessary monetary strength. How are they maintaining this place?"
