Because her voice was loud enough, Carolline naturally heard her. She turned around and saw the anger on the woman's face but didn't know why. She put her phone back in her pocket and smiled slightly, "Yes, Auntie, what can I do for you?"
"I called for five minutes earlier, asking if anyone was around, thinking you were deaf. Turns out you were hiding here talking on the phone?" The middle-aged woman sneered disdainfully, questioning her. Thinking of how no one paid attention to her shouting earlier, she became a bit angry.
