Chapter 13 - Curses and voodoo(2) CHAPTER 13

Staring at the ceiling and thinking about the whereabouts of Sabrina wasn't going to help me find her... Joy said and decided to tell father Oliver. I'd plan to let him know after 24 hours but I got so worried. She disappeared last night and didn't show up since then. Joy thought and opened the room door gentle closing it behind her. On her way to father Oliver's office she met sister Angela with the other children, she was singing to them a children rhythm.

"Sister may I ask a question?" she said and thought about telling her about the disappearance of Sabrina but then she changed her mind... Remembering the book in the library she said to her self; 'This people could be bad'.

"yes joy.. How may I help you??" she said and lifted one of the toddlers up while sitting on a little stool.

"Higher sister Angela, Higher.. I want to fly like a super hero." said the toddler she lifted.

"Well I was wondering if father Oliver was busy... I want to tell him something." I said and stammered a little bit

"Dear you can tell me anything." Sister Angela said and dropped the toddler, adjusting the toddlers garment and standing up from the little stool.

"No need sister. You have been so busy, taking care of all this kids.... I wouldn't want to add to your problems."

"Problems? This kids aren't problems, they are joy givers, they make me happy." She said and pat a little blond girl head.

"But still.." joy hesitated to tell her about the disappearance of Sabrina.

"Child you don't have to tell me now, you can always tell me later... You know where my room is right?" she smiled a little and nodded her head.

After visiting Oliver I decided to pay a visit to the old man. I haven't seen him since the gates leading to the living realm incident. Oliver is right, Luther is the only one that could help me with tracking the girl but then he's going to find out who she was and why she was still living. Loucesa thought to himself and looked towards his room door, sensing the presence of someone in his room he stopped pacing in his bedroom.

"Master loucesa... The lord of the south is waiting for you."

"You can go." loucesa said and stood up. I wonder what a human lord is doing in the underworld . Loucesa thought to himself. Leaving his quarters and heading towards the magestic stairs he clapped his hands loudly to gain the attention of the people in the lower floor. "I am quite suprised to see you lord of the southern empire. What brings you here to my lovely home?"

"Loucesa... It's been a while I payed a visit to the underworld, thought I could pay you a visit.. I brought gifts." He said and made a hand gesture towards the entrance of the kitchen. Loucesa looked behind him and saw maids carrying baskets filled with fruits.

" While thank you for your kind gesture. I appreciate.... Loucesa said and walked towards his throne, sitting on it. Now let's get to business. Why are you here lord Geithner? We both know you hate the underworld and after our last encounter you'd say you were never going to step a foot in my home." Loucesa said, placing his left elbow on the handle of his throne with his hand up and left palm open, resting his head lazily on it.

" Now Now Loucesa we shouldn't start a lovely day like this... Let the past be in the past."

"quit beating around the bush and get to the point." He said and yawned, getting tired of the little chitchat.

"There are demons in the living realm loucesa. They are killing humans and causing commotion."

"And what do you want me to do about it?"

"Kill them, get rid of them, they are monsters."

"Monsters you say? I am one of those monsters Geithner."

"I don't mean it that way milord. "The lord of the southern empire said and stammered the last of his tenses while loucesa searched for Jubril with lazy eyes and glared at lord Geithner.

"I'm sorry but there's nothing I can do. Those demons have their own monarch and ruler. I have other things to attend too. Jubril prepare for my journey."
