"Christian…take it easy," Clarence whispered.
Waking up out of breath, my body trembled, my fingers shook. I was in pain due to a natural reflex from the body's natural healing. I would be in and out of slumber the rest of the next days waiting for news.
I wasn't allowed to remove the patch from my eyes, every once in a while I would hear someone opening the door or walking around.
"Clarence, how is he healing?" Silas asked.
"We will be unwrapping soon so we will be able to gauge." He replied.
"Knock, knock! How is the brat doing?" Shimon questioned.
I could see him from a distance coming over to sit on the bed, since I agreed I couldn't object even now suffering from that choice.
"Is he talking yet?" Shimon inquired.
"Not a word yet, he has been coughing up blood once in a while though," Silas noted.
