On the roof I was kicking the ground with my foot impatiently, Otis was using his phone gawking through something for a couple of minutes. I was less unmotivated than usual dealing with everything in the household.
Shuffling from the ground Otis finally gets up to join me observing the outside, the heavens grew only another halo beside it. I was scared, but uncertain what it meant.
I could tell we were waiting for something to take place in this dreary setting, a household full of strange people and somehow we were getting along well for the most part.
"Sorry about that, but I was contacting someone."
"No…it's fine…" I responded wearily.
"I was wanting to do something, but it looks like I will need to cut our meeting short," Otis answered.
"No worries…"
"Till another time, okay?"
