"The surgery went well Doctor Silas!" The nurse congratulated him.
He drew his hands to his hips using his other hand to wipe from his brow in the large accomplishment, the nurse helped him pull the bloody gloves off letting them drop to the floor.
A big man dressed in a grey pressed suit busts through the door watching the sleeping boy, the large man clapping his hands together greedily lifts his head leaning it to the side gawking at the small fangs that had been inserted into gums.
A pair of snake-like fangs sat newly in his mouth, pronged ready to bite and hold his victims in place. Pumping blood vampires into his veins through transfusion.
"Is his body actually allowing it?" The man asked.
"He is doing much better than the other boys so far, he hasn't woken at all." the nurse affirmed.
"How will you know it is a full success?" He inquired.
"When he survives, the trail will start today when he goes to therapy after he wakes." Silas states.
"Will he be able to grow or is this as far as his body will go with this transfusion?" The pudgy man questioned.
"He should be able to grow, we altered the DNA hence why we need children like this Clarence here." Doctor Silas clarified.
"Hmm…I will wait for the analysis. We want the blood samples before we barter on the payment." He spouted.
"Understood, what do you plan to do with him?" Silas pondered.
"Assassination, he would be perfect for the job." The round man stated.
"You will go through a lot to discipline him…he is still a child." Doctor Silas commented.
"We have a proper committee to deal with him."
"No worries, come back when he has rested to meet your product, Mr. Williams." Silas requested.
Mr. William says nothing more departing while Silas detaches the face mask, only a small glance before leaving. So much determination to raise a proclaimed dead child in the name of greedy politics in the wake of science's biggest achievements.
"Clarence…Clarence…can you hear me?" Silas whispered.
Propped up in a wheelchair Clarence goes to move his hands, he immediately acknowledges he has been restrained by cuffs.
"Where…"
"Take it easy please," Silas said.
Surveying files on a clipboard the nurses release him from chains, taking his hands back. Clarence is bewildered to be waking up in front of a large man with a bulging round stomach, a stubble instead of a beard, his hair platinum blonde and messy, eyes that seem to stray independently of each other almost curving outwards, peeking down from above practically hanging over the rails.
Running down on his small legs he nearly tumbles down the steps to get a closer look at the boy, squeezing his cheeks, running his hands down his backside. Clarence began to bodily quiver as his fingers ran down the open crease in the gown.
Prying Clarence's mouth he gauges the new fangs pressing firmly, they retract as the man checks them. Silas only stares blankly, quietly observing how the man carries out his handling of Clarence.
"Oh yes…I like him very much…" The man hummed.
"So you like the final product then?" Silas asked.
Clarence gets up from the wheelchair almost falling to be caught by Mr. Williams passionately clutching his arm in a tight grip. Swinging around to gawk at Silas.
"What is going on?" He shouted.
"You are merchandise, quiet please…" He said calmly.
Mr. William unties the back of his gown, sliding it off to reveal his bareback to the buyer, the humiliation of being probed by his intrusive behavior, the dirty old man grabs him by the chest, yanking him into a hug pressing his naked body close to his letting his fingers push along his spine and sides tracing his thighs.
"Such a nice shape…"
"Enjoying what you see?" Silas asked.
Clarence speedily pulls the cloth back over his shoulders stunned, balling his hand into a fist, he stands there trembling listening to them both talk as the man walks away with a satisfied grin on his face.
"You will be taught to love your body, but also a love to kill…" He said with a look of delight.
"I don't want to be here…" Clarence said in a low voice.
"There will be others to guide you, you won't be alone." Mr. William stated.
"Didn't you hear me!" Clarence argued.
"We heard you just fine boy…" Mr. Williams argued in a threatening tone.
Clarence realized they don't plan to be kind to him or let him go, flicking his tongue at his newly planted fangs he sits back down in the wheelchair lifting the blanket that was sitting on his knees up looking forward.
"I was told you may be feeling weak for a few days so you can rest all of this week Clarence." Mr. Williams stated.
He started to feel under-able to breathe, everything felt so unreal to him in his new environment gripping the cover he thought he would suffocate alone holding his breath as the bargaining for his life left him unwilling to participate in his own existence suddenly.
"A nurse will be coming the first week for therapy, to make sure he is ready for her." Silas reminded him.
"It would make sense…he will be adapting to a new life."
"Clarence…" Silas said.
"Yes…" Clarence replied.
"You are now a living weapon and in the hands of Mr. Williams, you have been the most successful of the projects…you remember those other boys?" Silas explained.
"Y-yes?" He gulped.
"They died…all but one other…"
"Why…"
"Why do you ask?" Silas responded coldly.
"WHY!" He howled.
"Pure chance Clarence, you were merely built to survive this. You should be proud." Silas smiled.
"I see…"
"You can take him inside now Molly." Mr. William states.
In his best effort, Clarence tries to escape jumping up from the chair only to walk several feet before Doctor Silas catches the exhausted boy in his arms.
"You are just fatigued Clarence, you need to rest…" Silas scolded.
"I…" Clarence huffed.
Inhaling Doctor Silas's flesh deeply he finds himself ready to bite into his bodily tissue, Clarence hypnotically snaps his newly drawn canines into his arm allowing his crimson glory to drip down his arm.
"Oh my god! Are you okay Doctor Silas?" Mr. William shouted.
"Shhh…please Mr. Williams…good boy Clarence drinks up," Silas answered.
Taking out a hidden syringe from a position inside his insulated white coat he slowly draws it high in the air letting the cap hit the ground, Clarence hears it pulling himself up.
Doctor Silas takes the opportunity to stab him with the needle while he is mildly distracted by the sound, crumpling into his arms, Silas pets his head watching him fall to sleep gently.
"Did you really need to do that?" Mr. William argues.
"Don't be fooled, he is now an animal…"Silas commented.
"So what are you suggesting? How do I handle an animal like this?" Mr. Williams asked.
Doctor Silas hands the confused man a thin notebook, he flips through it sighing, and then a few pages more he is gasping at the boy. Observing the slumbering child he becomes more aware of the being he had just bought.
"All the answers you seek about his care are in that book, he is in your hands now." Silas smiled.
