the flight to the planet I'd be helping, it was called lythos I believe, was uneventful and short, our landing on the other hand was completely different.
"you're late."(human male)
the angel rolled her eyes as she groaned, not a good sign.
"and who's this?"(human male)
I flashed my eyes at him as I released a bit of my aura, that was all the answer to his question he needed.
"a god, pitiful, I requested someone powerful!"(human male)
it wss my turn to roll my eyes and groan.
"he is the oldest being on his planet, he is a full god, and he is a primal, strength is what I brought."(angel) said, annoyed.
the human didn't believe it, I could see the stupid idea forming behind his eyes.
"look I can promise I won't kill you since I promised to help someone and all but I can promise you'll leave the encounter with less than you went in with."(syn) I warned, blasting my aura at the man at barely around half power, buckling his knees and cracking the ground beneath him, a clear conflict of emotion on his face.
"so what's going on?"(syn) I asked the angel as I kept the human under control, his eyes darting angrily between me and the angel.
"I will tell you but I will only tell you what you need to know, nothing else."(angel) informed me.
"good, I don't care about anything other than what I'm here to do, sooner that's done the sooner I can go home."(syn)
at this the human tried to make a noise in rage, clearly he had problems, the adults were talking.
unluckily for him, his silence wouldn't last long.
"how dare you treat the chosen one this way?!"(human male) roared, finally able to speak.
the second the words were free from his mouth and had entered my ears I burst out laughing, holding my sides, tears in my eyes, rolling on the ground, laughing.
"you, a chosen one?! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"(syn)
the angel nudged my side with her foot, Interrupting me and my laughter.
"he is a chosen one, for this world anyway, your world doesn't have one, it already has you."(angel)
well that's certainly some information to process.
"so what's a chosen one?"(syn) I asked the angel, I really didn't know, never really cared about fiction back on earth and I certainly didn't care here, I had no clue what a chosen one was.
"a chosen one is a being who has abnormal growth and power, they're chosen for a purpose and they have high status in societies."(angels)
at her words I gave a studying glance to the human, he was short, stubby, looked absolutely unathletic, had balding hair, and looked so ugly not even a pig would fuck him.
"this....fugly.....fugly thing. is a chosen one?!"(syn)
at my genuine question, the man became enraged.
"how dare you!"(chosen one, apparently) shouted as he charged me, I didn't even spare a glance as I used one hand to swat him away like an insect, his body crashed and careened through trees and boulders as damage erupted in the forest we were in, carving a narrow path.
he eventually came to a rocky halt in a lake, a clear line of destruction gave me a decent view of where he landed.
"some chosen one this world has."(syn) I remarked, extremely disappointed and disgusted.
"agreed, he isn't much in terms of any attribute, normally a primal is supposed to be a chosen one but they are unable."(angel)
oh right, the reason I'm here, the primals of this world.
"then let's fix that."(syn)
the angel nodded and gestured for me to follow, which I did, following the angel eventually brought me to a large temple like structure.
"you brought me all the way here to worship a god?"(syn) I asked the angel, obviously mocking where she brought me to.
"gods don't worship other gods."(angel)
that was the only response she gave, her emotionlessness made me look bipolar in comparison.
"so what are we doing here then?"(syn)
no response.
all the angel did was begin walking towards the entrance, causing my legs to begrudgingly follow as the uncertainty in the air caught my attention.
my attention didn't hold long though, a whistling noise before a harmless thunk echoed in the forest, the angel slowly began pulling on the Intrusion to her head.
an arrow was dropped to the mud before a cold glance was shot in the direction the arrow came from.
"you can handle that."(syn) I told the angel as I pushed forward, allowing myself to be curious about the temple, a need to fill that curiosity bubbling up within me.
I would've entered no problem but the angel shoved a hand directly in my path.
"I am a guide, not a fighter, you will take care of this."(angel)
I swear I get stuck with the most useless people ever.
I groaned before trudging off into the distance, dragging my feet as I really didn't want to be bothered with this.
another arrow flew past my shoulder, whoever it was still had the angel in their sights, instead of me, the guy approaching them, are they stupid?
they'd speak to me before I could definitively answer my question, then again they'd probably answer it soon.
"hey man get out of the way, were here to free the primals, that winged freak is the one behind everything!"(human)
I sighed as I placed my head in my hands, this was going to be annoying.
"no, she brought me here to do the same thing you are, she's not one of those winged people."(syn)
the man looked back behind me at the angel, then back at me, judgement filled his eyes.
"ok she's a winged person, but not the kind you think."(syn)
the man made a 'hmmmm' noise before continuing not to believe me.
"look, she told me to take care of you, giving that we want the same thing I'd hate to kill you."(syn)
the man looked me up and down, stifling a laugh before calming himself.
"you? kill us?"(human) said, barely keeping himself together.
it didn't take long before him and his friends began laughing hysterically, they were doing the exact same thing I did to the "chosen one" not too long ago, I guess karma really does come around to bite people in the ass.
[there's not yet a full god for karma]
why am I not surprised?
"hey, you!"(human) shouted, pulling my attention back to him.
"what?"(syn)
the man began to look annoyed, like he was the one that had been the most effected by this conversation, then again he could've been, I didn't care.
"you shouldn't threaten people then stare off like that, why don't you get out of OUR way now."(human)
it's like this dude wanted to die.....ohhhhh, they don't know.
I flashed my eyes at the man before releasing my aura from within, it began to coat me and violently swirl into the air like a raging fire hungry to consume.
"look pal illusion magic isn't new, why don't you leave?"(human)
that's a logical leap to make, not the first leap I'd make, but a logical one nonetheless.
"it's not illusion magic."(syn)
the man scoffed, clearly in disbelief.
"the only thing with auras are angels, demons, animals, primals, and gods, that's it."(human) said, all proud of himself for knowing that info.
"you're forgetting quite a few there."(syn)
[this world does not have all the species yours does]
that would make sense, different planets different species on it, well mostly.
"I'm not forgetting anything!"(human) shouted, like he was trying to convince someone.
weird dude.
