INTER-SCHOOL COMPETITION
"I have a wind bracelet that could conjure a powerful wind gush magic that infuses magic from the Momentum templar stars to the Conjuring," Hugo told me.
Hugo gave me a blue bracelet adorned with a blue sapphire like stone.
"Eirot, try this bracelet, with your powerful Momentum this bracelet could make up for your lack of power and a weapon", I told Eirot and gave the bracelet to her.
The bracelet was what Eirot needed, and she liked it a lot, but she couldn't take such a gift from me. She hardly knew me, and the gift was very expensive.
"No, I can't have your bracelet", she said to me and rejected my offer.
"Try it first. Consider it a loan for the duel", I told her, and she finally relented and tried on the bracelet.
Eirot walked to the testing ground in Noten House wearing the bracelet.
She channeled her magic into the item when suddenly a powerful spear formed from spinning wind was conjured from her hand that rushed toward the target before her and pierced a large hole into the wooden test plank.
"Sapphire Wind Spear"
"Did I do that?" Eirot asked me in disbelief.
"Amazing who would have thought such a young girl like you would have Venus tiered templar's momentum", Hugo praised her.
"It isn't much right now but when she grows in her templar magic the wind spear would be invincible", I told Hugo.
"You kid nowadays are such monsters", Hugo told us with a smile.
Before we left, we bought a few more gauntlets, armor, and speed-boosting kneecaps to fully gear ourselves for the battle with the Maple School of Templar magic.
"I can't have all this equipment I can't pay for them", Eirot told me.
"Don't worry those gears would be free if we win the duel with Maple School", I told Eirot.
"Really, I'll borrow them for now", she replied to me thinking that the school would sponsor the gear to us.
After shopping, we returned to school and practiced conjuring and using the artifacts that we bought. We sparred daily and became good friends.
We became so close that even my best friends became jealous of our time together.
"Orion, don't forget we are your friends first", Minna said to me.
"Minna, you have no chance with Orion, with that demon girl around", Bommurs told Minna as they watched us spar in school.
Most naturally Minna kicked Bommurs from behind fiercely as the rest of us laughed at them.
"Hahaha"
Sparring with a friend that I want to be with and playing among my friends was all that we did in school. Those were the best times of my life in the Antenne School of Magic.

The inter-school competition was held in Town at the same place I won my Young Mages Competition and as usual, there was a large, raised platform that served as an arena and many seating positions for those who came to watch us fight.
The rules were simple, a knock-out or knock-off from arena grounds.
Our competitors were two of the best students in Maple School of Magic and before the match, everyone must declare their templar magic through a crystal ball test.
"Hendro Venus Tier 1" "Xavier Mercury Tier 10"
"Eirot Mercury Tier 10" "Orion Mercury Tier 3"
"I remember him, he's that bastard princeling cheater again"
"How can he even compare with the best in the town"
"Pathetic a Mercury Tier 3 why isn't he embarrassed to even show up"
"What did the Antenne school think to field such rubbish"
"I'll sell my wife to bet him lose"
The spectators were again judging my performance by my low magic level, but I was used to the treatment.
I was however quite nice to the guy who wants to sell his wife to bet on me losing so I told him like I did the guy last time who did the same, "Hey you, I hope your wife is ugly?"
"What is that about?" Eirot asked me.
"That guy is a fan of mine", I replied to her.
"Why do they hate you so much?" Eirot asked me about those in the crowd.
"Do people need a reason to hate? That is because I am the King of Bad Polls", I told her.

"Antenne School of Magic vs Maple School of Magic"
"Duel Begins"
Hendro and Xavier were peak level students that were the best among their peers.
From the teacher's information, Hendro fights best with his strength while Xavier was quick and fast, so the strategy against them was simple, me against Hendro, Eirot against Xavier.
I have full confidence in Eirot winning because there was no way Xavier could match Eirot in Momentum magic because of her Devil's Affinity.
However, Xavier wasn't to be underestimated because he didn't move much slower than Eirot.
"He must have the help of powerful speed-boosting boots to help", I told myself.
But Eirot wasn't under-geared and in fact, she matched Xavier with her full gear, item for item, and with her natural Demonic affinity in Momentum, Xavier was a snail in front of her, hare.
"Earthquake strike punch"
Eirot channeled her magic into the gauntlet that I gave her as it crackled with magic energy. As Eirot's fist was sparkling with magic, she charged toward Xavier and jabbed him, releasing the energy of an earth-shattering punch on him.
"Arrrrrgghhhh"
Xavier screamed as Eirot's punch exploded on him and he was thrown away a dozen feet.
"Surrender now you lizard or I'll break you", Eirot shouted at Xavier who was now fearful for his life.
"Where did you learn to speak like that?" I asked Eirot.
"I learned it from you", she replied to me.
Intimidating an opponent was a good strategy to break the other guy's morale and force a surrender even. But it didn't work this time.
"Not so fast, I'm not done yet", Xavier replied to her.
Xavier was fully geared too, so he could take quite a few more punches from Eirot, who quickly swamped over him again.
