Oliver's POV
It felt like I was dying because of the excruciating pain that I felt, and when I saw their leader dragging Victoria with him, I mustered the last of my strength to get up, but I was too weak to stand up from the ground. And I was watching Victoria with eyes wide open as she struggled to get away from his captor, and I wanted to kill him for taking my fiancee away from me. Still, the bullet that hit my heart made me dizzy, and I could feel the weakening of my body.
I could hear Victoria's pleas, but no one listened and helped her, and I knew it was my duty as her mate to protect and save her. And I felt frustrated that I couldn't even do something to keep her safe. She is the only woman I love, yet, I felt so hopeless as I could feel the pain when I heard Victoria's outcry as the vehicle drove away, and she was calling my name.
