Chapter 67 - Meeting

The little greeting between Kurono and Ayaka hadn't finished yet, and actually a few seconds had already passed in that position, but no matter how hard he tried, Kurono couldn't escape from Ayaka's grasp.

"Ayaka, could you let go of Kurono-san?" Kyoko had to butt in as that scene wouldn't end quickly if she let Ayaka continue like this.

"Oh, sorry. I was busy looking at the boy's features, I hope I didn't bother you." Ayaka had come back to reality thanks to Kyoko's words and apologized a little for her earlier attitude. "Have you met Akira yet?"

That last question was directed at both Rena and Kurono since they were quite comfortable in the main room, and Rena answered clearly.

"Akira-nee offered us something to drink, so I guess she'll be in the kitchen."

"Then I'd better do the same, it'll also be good to make some tea since we're all here." And following her own words, Ayaka crossed the same door that Akira had passed through earlier.

"And... where were you?" That question had come out of Rena once she turned her attention to her mother and grandmother.

"We just went for a little walk to update Shizune with the changes that the town has had." Kyoko was quick to tell the truth.

"Yes... It was a nice walk, but there really wasn't any significant change." Shizune chuckled a little before walking over and taking a seat next to Kurono.

Rena analyzed all of that and dismissed her strange thoughts as she felt that both Shizune and Kyoko spoke with complete sincerity.

Not having a specific topic to talk about, everyone had taken their seats again for small talk to take place without anything really important, although Kyoko didn't waste the situation and began to berate Rena a bit since she was only wearing a thin coat, this same thing made Rena pout again, although that also resulted in a few small giggles from Shizune and Kurono.

The minutes ticked by, which was even more noticeable as the small orange light that could previously be seen on the other side of the window in the room had been replaced by the characteristic darkness of night.

And while the small group continued to chat in the room, the mother-daughter duo of Ayaka and Akira appeared once the door was opened again some cups and small snacks could be seen in their hands to accompany that.

Both placed everything on the central table, leaving everything within everyone's reach, and then took a seat and joined the small event.

"Akira-chan, I guess you've already met Kurono, right?" Shizune's voice was heard again with that question.

"Yes, we already introduced ourselves before... It really was a surprise; I haven't heard from you in these last few months and now... I might even think that you are someone else, Nee-san." Akira was being honest, those thoughts had not been generated by the simple fact of knowing that Shizune was now in a relationship, but also because another of her surprises had been the changes in attitude and Shizune's figure.

"I should say the same... How did you manage to have such an incredible figure? All my life I have been envious of Kyoko's genetics, but I would never have imagined that these were the results of polishing all that, I am sure that men cannot take their eyes off you, haha!" Ayaka had no qualms about saying what was on her mind, but she was serious.

"Ayaka-san!" Shizune's voice was loud at that moment, maybe she would have taken it as a simple joke, but she was aware that Kurono was there at that moment.

For his part, Kurono was simply enjoying the conversation, and she wasn't bothered by such comments either... Although deep down, he was aware that what Ayaka said was not entirely wrong...

"The mother-in-law is right, mom. Maybe you're not aware, but the times we've gone out together, I've seen those expressions on various people, it's as if they were trying to undress you with their eyes." Rena didn't miss the opportunity to join in because she thought it was fun.

Shizune didn't know what to say, Kyoko was laughing a little silently while Akira shook her head a little when she saw the attitude of her mother and sister-in-law.

Maybe it was quite obvious, but, right now, Kurono was the only man in the room, he was already aware from before that he might feel himself something out of place, he had also heard all of Rena and Ayaka's comments, and although he wasn't giving them any importance, he couldn't help but frown a little as he imagined some of those scenes...

In the end, Shizune had to put up with all of that for a while longer before she began to abruptly change the subject. Both Akira and Ayaka were interested in all the stories that Shizune and Rena lived through in the city, so they all turned their attention to it.

They both began to tell everything without exaggerated details, but it was enough to understand everything they had been through since they left the village behind.

"Yeah, it's all interesting, but... how long are you going to be dodging the really juicy topic?" It wasn't too hard to guess what Ayaka was referring to.

"I must support mom this time, how did you and Kurono-san meet, Nee-san?" Akira couldn't lie to herself since her curiosity had already gotten the better of her, besides, lately she had become a bit addicted to romance stories, so she wasn't going to miss the chance to experience all that she could listen to.

Shizune had been overwhelmed by that, but she knew that sooner or later she would have to talk, she had looked at Kurono once more and then saw the small smile on his face telling her that there was no problem with it.

Rena had also prepared to exaggerate some aspects of Shizune's tale and Kyoko was just enjoying her tea and offering Kurono some, and this itself made everyone realize that the night was far from over.
