The planet known as Erebos by its inhabitants included the Knight Continent or referred by others as the Papal continent and a few other continents and numerous islands as well as it's vast seas .Malin found himself in the Sky Land Knight Kingdom which was located on the most northern part of the continent . It made up for, one of the three Knight Kingdoms which took the upper half of the continent giving it its name Knight Kingdom , whilst the other half was completely influenced and nearly wholly ruled under the Holy Empire granting the Continent it's second name , the Papal Continent which was ruled by the church of Erebus which took in all other minor churches under them establishing itself as a major power and influence to its surbodinate kingdoms and the general view of the world .
In terms of territory this was all Malin could recall from his gained memories, as of the other continents he did not recall much about them besides that majority of mages, beastmen and other races live on them. Having tried and failed multiple times to recall his former life and the reasons to why he ended up here, he decided not to continue to delve much further into it and hopefully find ways in the future to resolve the missing gaps, as of now his immediate thoughts went to the sky land knight Kingdom and the Dark Knight Organisation.
Malin had no recollection of his family , he grew up at an orphanage located on the outskirts of the royal Capital of the Sky land Knight Kingdom. At the age of 10 knowing to some extent the cruelty of the kingdom as majority lived in poverty, fortunately the kingdom had not fallen to the neighbouring knight Kingdoms being the Azof Knight Kingdom on its southwest borders and the Krarin Knight Kingdom on its southwest which could not make a move as it would leave the Holy Empire unchecked as well as weaken the Knight Kingdoms allowing the church to spread its influence further which the nobilities and knights detested.
What had weakened the Sky Land Knight Kingdom was the death of its former King , the Knight of Law Ezekiel Solmn , he was said to be a great powerhouse comparable to the great nation leaders and was on par with the Exalted Pope of the Erebus church. Nothing was released to the public concerning his death and was quickly succeeded by his youngest and only son king Jeff (15 years) who was even younger than Malin's physical age and as such the kingdom was practically under the control of his uncle as his counsel Duke Knight Adrian Solmn.
At the time Malin left the orphanage to seek a way to become a knight. To become a knight or mage required one to absorb the worldly essence producing the aura in knights and mana in mages and achieve the grey level , which was dubbed to being a 'Starter' granting power just above human limits but to achieve this still required some resources, guidance and knowledge which Malin would not receive at the orphanage.
Wandering aimlessly through towns and begging Malin had found himself nowhere and to survive started petty looting and three years had just passed like that.
Now at the age of 13, Malin decided to go hunting hoping if he could not catch something to sell at the least catch his supper . In one of the remote towns in the west of the kingdom in the fief of a powerless baron , not all nobilities possessed inhumane strength some were ordinary . This fiefdom had a forest which seemed much untampered for whatever reasons but luckily no magical beasts existed in this forest. for the current season at the least.
Malin delved deep thinking to score a wild boar with his long knife laced with a paralysis toxin which he had nabbed from another kid. Cautiously making his way to what seemed like a large pond , he hid behind one of the bushes and remained silent as much as he could. He had felt an urge that he was being watched the entire time and hoped there would be animals by the pond to drive the attention and eeriness away from him but the creatures seemed to had sensed it before him and hid in their habitats. Struggling to keep his composure he yelled 'Who's There' trying to sound as brave and manly as he could but the fear still resounded from his words.
This is when Malin chanced out and met Callum a knight from the dark knight organisation and clearly a powerful one at that,a higher stage than yellow level (Journeyman) who seemed intrigued
by Malin. Malin then was given an ultimatum, if he could reach the gray level(Starter) before he reached the age of 15 Callum would introduce him to a place that would give him an opportunity and with that Callum dropped 5 gemstones and taught him a simple meditation as well as advising
him to train.
Soon enough Malin achieved the gray level, spending most of his time in the forest always at a marvel to his aura which gave him a powerful feeling. Not many days passed as Callum brought him to the Dark Knight organisation. Callum never stayed much longer than required and his presence
was gone but Malin was very grateful towards him no matter.
Malin met some who were in a similar predicament and others who seemed to being nurtured by the organization. Lightly briefed about the organization, those at the gray level were instructed to solely meditate and exercise till they reached the red of which over 60 gray levels were present and
less than half were estimated to reach red the other would likely become errand knights or work the compound as security in the future if not be killed by the organisation to prevent leaks but the benefits in succeeding were worth it considering most of the backgrounds present. Further details concerning the organisation would be divulged upon reaching the amateur stage(red level) as they
were told.

Malin let through an exhausted sigh, with this information everything was now up to speed . Looking outside the window, night had already fallen , too late for supper as it is Malin thought ' It's best I sleep now and wake up early and hopefully have breakfast before the meeting with Instructor Caleb tomorrow '
With that Malin dimmed his magic light as silence spread throughout the whole complex.
