"Hey" a voice popped up beside me
"Hello" I said darting the girl a side glance. I was too busy entangled in my own thoughts that I lost track of time. Half the number of the guys who were dancing were either asleep on the floor and couches or gone. Now the dance floor wasn't that thronged.
"I've seen you in school" the girl said again. This time, I scanned her again but seriously. She was a blonde girl with a nose piercing, pierced ears, one pierced lash and a tattoo of a star on her left arm. The edges of her hair were dyed pink. She reminded me of Hailey from Gotham.
"We are in the same grade" I said blankly studying her tattoo
"No shit" the girl smiled revealing a tongue piercing
"Yeah…How many piercings do you have?" I asked curiously. During the ancient times, I had never actually saw anyone with as much piercings as her. She also reminded me that I should get tattoos as in my previous life.
"Ten" she shrugged lifting up her top. She had another piercing on her belly button.
"And tattoos?"
"Eight, you want to see how far they go?"
"No thanks" I said turning my eyes back at Buch who was now dancing invigoratingly. He was actually quite the dancer despite his size.
"It's actually just one tattoo" the girl spoke "….the tattoo and piercings remind me of my older sister"
"Is she Uhm…dead?"
"No, she is a cop" she shrugged
"She also has piercings and a tattoo?" that's too much even for a female cop, aint' it?
"No"
"Then how does they remind…." I started confused
"She hates them" the girl blurted
"I get it" I slowly nodded my head "That's actually smart"
I looked at her again and she now seemed kind of familiar like I had seen a face like hers somewhere recently…maybe it was at school. She was beautiful in a certain way but young, sixteen or seventeen maybe. We sat in silence for a while as we watched Deborah and others dance.
"Is Deborah your girlfriend?" the girl asked abruptly
"No"
"You have a boyfriend?" she asked again
"No, I don't have a boyfriend…or a girlfriend"
"Deborah has been looking at us for the past one hour sneakily…and you have been watching that fat dude for long"
"Buch's my friend, I'm just looking out for him" I shook my head, I don't know the deal about Deborah though. "You are actually quite sentient of people around you"
"I have no idea of what you just said" the girl looked at me boringly
"You are attentive" I sighed.
"Thanks, I guess" she brushed her hair behind her ear "You want to kiss me?"
"Why would I want to kiss you?" I asked stupefied
"You sure you are straight? I won't judge and… have you kissed a girl before?"
"I like girls and I have kissed lots of them before…"
"Now you are just being homophobic and in denial…."
I raised a brow at her…she stared right back at me. I then grabbed her arm.
Ten minutes later, we were kissing inside a certain bedroom in Deborah's house. I kissed her not because I was bent by her calling me homophobic, I was just curious of how kissing would feel if one had a tongue piercing. I was satisfying my own curiosity. I knew how to control myself so I restrained myself from going too far with the kissing. Maybe I did a very good job in the kissing because…
"What in the bloody Mars?" a voice shouted "You are making out in my room…on my bed"
"Shane?"
"Uhm" I lightly coughed as I got off the girl whom I didn't even learn her name, only that her sister was a cop.
"Unbelievable" Deborah raised her arms "You two a thing now? You just met"
"No" I said "I'm leaving" How the hell did she know we were here? In her room
"He said you were not his girlfriend, no reason to get mad" the girl rolled her eyes as she straightened her shirt
The girl walked leisurely towards me by the door not minding Deborah's predator like gaze and circled her arms on my neck. She stood on her tip toes and said in my ear, loud enough for everyone in the room to hear.
"You are a great kisser"
"Two white worms hugging, the other one looks mad"
The three of us turned to look at Buch who stood beside a white closet like a statue. I could tell Deborah was utterly freaked out but she did a good job in staying still.
"Were you there the whole time?" I widened my eyes
"Saw two worms make out" Buch said dreamily "Big worm wants to make out too…"
"I think we should leave…" I shook my head "Thanks for the party Debs"
