Once in about more than a million years ago, there were rumored to be the existence of the race of the supernatural. Though it hasn't been scientifically proven, several artifacts and fossils support the notion. Scientists have argued that the ancient human race who lived in the age of the dinosaurs had access to numerous resources that may have facilitated them to acquire abilities. They existed till the whole world was wiped off every life form.
Some of the artifacts recovered by scientists and explorers are exhibited in some of the national museums around the city.
Stories passed on from the old ages say that long ago there existed two strong forces. The demon force and the righteous sect. The two forces were and had been adversaries for a long time until a war brought them together. To face a common strong enemy, the two foes had to join armies to defeat it. After the big war that saw the end to half the world, the demon lord was betrayed by his own and their present ally.
The fall of the demon lord led to the fall of the demon force making the righteous sect the ruling force.
The rest of the stories I read were bullshit, not helpful at all. Even the pictures of recovered monuments didn't capture anything close to my swords. The books didn't say anything about my powers which left me with one remaining option, finding my powers by myself.
If I still remembered correctly, I was not born a demon…I was made into one. With my hard work, perseverance and brutality I managed to rise through ranks and become the strongest demon lord of all times.
The process wasn't exactly fascinating, I had to do many things I wasn't proud of. Thinking that after being reincarnated my powers would just appear automatically then I was kidding myself. I had to start from scratch…from the scratch, from zero, so discouraging.
I had to first strengthen my body before I started the first process. That would involve hitting the gym and eating healthy.
It was in the late evening after I had returned the books that I started jogging in our school pitch. The school was close to empty but I was still sure that some teachers were still in the staffroom closing up. The school janitor didn't think I was crazy when he saw me taking laps around the school field, in fact he even gave me some water when I stopped for some rest. The feeling after the exercise was invigorating and stimulating, I felt like my pores had opened up. I was almost going for the tenth lap when I was called.
