" I have nothing to do with the Griffins ok? Don't take me wrong. Ridden is a good friend of mine." Naysa said.
Marina snorted at Livia. Though the never held grudges, she didn't like the way Livia emphasized on the relationship between Naysa and Ridden. The were close friends yes, but many mistook them as lovers. Marina was bound to protect her sweet sister Naysa, while Naysa loved her dearly.
" Now... Check out the picture of the Red State Company, ooh my God!!! He's Soo sweet." Livia showed them a picture on her phone.
It was a picture of the CEO of Red State Company. It was clear and he looked like a well craven drawing of a fairy god. His lips were pink and soft. His eyes were shiny black and his face was too cute to be real. His hair wasn't that too short but it was well combed and a few strands hang on his face close to the thick eyebrows. His eye lashes were long and sexy.
" The company made a promotion and he was featured, though I searched the whole internet and there is no other picture of him." Livia said.
"Livia I think you're being greedy." Marina joked. " I heard that the Caskeys will also join politics and be among the most influential families here in K nation."
" See, who wouldn't dream of such a handsome god as a husband? Besides, even if the Caskeys join politics, they won't be as influential as the Grants. The Grants are even far above the president." Livia said as she fantasied the handsome man in the picture as her husband. " Naysa, aren't you worried that the Caskeys will outwin the Griffins?".
" My second name in Haven not Griffins." Naysa snorted and walked away. Marina looked at naysa who was walking away, then back at Livia.
" Would you like to maintain this friendship? Naysa hasn't said yes to Ridden yet. I think you should stop pushing it too far." Marina, who had no interest in the other gender said. Naysa blew up her nose loudly and hastened her steps. Marina pulled Livia over and they caught up with her and walked into the room.
RED STATE COMPANY
Jemmy sat in his luxurious office with his head buried in the files. Occasionally, he would click on the computer. This was always his routine. His guards stood outside uniformly except for Stenson who was his most trusted driver and errand boy. The were both dressed in neat black suits embroidered with the Grants family logo.
Stenson stood next to the door, not even daring to breath loudly. The air was suffocating but he was already used to it.
" Boss, second boss is here." Stenson said.
Jemmy snorted slightly and didn't even look up. The door was opened and Hank walked in with his hands inside his pocket. " I already told you I want to check on that old man, don't pretend you're not concerned." He said moving towards the table. Jemmy just pretended not to hear.
" Am talking to you, do you hear me?" Hank raised his voice as he slapped hard on Jemmy's desk. The papers scattered on the floor and Stenson moved to pick them up. Jemmy looked up and their eyes met. " Am talking to you." Hank said, staring deep into his brother's eyes.
Old man Augustine Grants had three sons, Jemmy, Hank and Larry in the order of their birth. No one would mistake them. Their dark shiny black eyes, their thick slightly curled black hair. Their physical features we're almost the same but their temper was another thing to fear. Though Hank talked alot more than the other two, their temper was all the same. One minute they'll blow up a tantrum, the next minute they'll be calm and the next they'll fly into rage. The guards were already used to them. They knew when to joke and when to put on a serious face.
"Do what do you want?" Jemmy asked maintaining a cool posture.
" I already told you. You're really boring." Hank snorted.
" Take few guards with you and say hi to that small poker face." Jemmy said, referring to Larry.
"Talk of the devil himself. Is Larry coming along? He said nothing on the group chat." Hank said. They had the Grant's chat group and, the Grants email.
Each of the Grant's son had been assigned a company to run. Here in K nation was Jemmy, Larry was in country Y running the Hatton company while Hank, who was supposed to be in LA state running the Starton Company but he refused and followed Jemmy. To him, it would be too boring to stay home where their father and step mother was. He also didn't want to stay in one place and do all the office work, so their father was forced to run the Starton Company names after their grandfather Starton Grants.
" Who supposed to be asking that question? Are you not the one who arranged this whole meeting thing? Besides, Larry isn't as free as you are. He is running a company. Now, get lost!" Jemmy said with a bored tone. Hank snorted and walked out. The bodyguards were all waiting.
" Where do you think you are all going. Now, I just want four people to drive me to the airport. The bodyguards of country Y will come for me at the airport." Hank said. The bodyguards looked at him calmly. They were both used to the dramas of their second boss.
Frank hoped into the driver's seat. Four more armed bodyguards went in and the car left. Hank left with just one car, which was a very rare thing.
