Ryan POV:
He quickly made his way to the classroom, while carrying the quickly melting ice bags in his arms which were melting into his shirt. There near the door of the classroom, there was a trash can, he dumped all the ice bags that the nurse gave him except one. Ryan opened the classroom door and entered, luckily everyone from his fifth period was still there.
He noticed something strange in his classmates, they were all staring at him and they were too quiet. Ryan thought 'Is there something on me why are all of them staring at me more than usual and what's up with them not talking?' A million thoughts were going through his head but on the outside, he seemed like his usual aloof self.
He steadily went to his seat and started listening to what the teacher was teaching, the awkward silence was still there till the end of the lesson. He slowly got up from his seat, went to the nearest bathroom, and checked the mirror. There it was the wet shirt, he started pondering 'It must be from the ice bags, that makes sense, that would also explain those weird stares, but how could I not feel it that's the real question?'. He grabbed a spare shirt from his backpack and quickly changed into the new one and dumped the wet one into his backpack.
Ryan heard the bell ring he scurried off to his next class and sat in his seat and listened to the seemingly never-ending lesson. Ryan repeated this process a few more times until he heard the last bell of the day. He slowly got off his seat and got his backpack and left the classroom. He went through the hall of the school till he saw the door where all the students were exiting from. He pushed the door open and immediately felt the cool breeze hitting his face.
He called a taxi and entered it. Ryan faced the taxi driver and told him where to go. During the whole ride, Ryan thought 'It's always the same routine, sometimes I wish that it would be a bit different like today even though it was a bit weird...… I want to feel more experiences like other people'
The taxi stopped at a tall building, Ryan paid the driver and got off. He started at the 14-floor tall apartment building which he called home.
