Chapter 6 - Home

Ryan POV

Back at the apartments

Ryan entered apartment 97, the layout was one bedroom, a small kitchen, a small living room, and of course a bathroom. Most of the time his parents would pay for his living expenses but once in a while he would work to make the count. He went into his room and took off his backpack and dumped it next to the small desk he had in his room. He quickly took off his shoes and jumped face-first into his bed, he sighed and said to himself, "Luckily I did all my homework at school or else I wouldn't be able to do this, oh how I miss this feeling".

Ryan thought 'What should I do? It's been a while since I had time to do the things I wanted to do…Hmmm maybe I should cook I'll make my not so famous Bibimbap Yeah, I should do it :)'

He entered the kitchen and got all the ingredients and tools out to make Bibimbap. Anybody who saw him cook would think he was a skillful cook but in reality, he wasn't. Once he finished his Bibimbap, he set up the table and started eating. The food looks delicious on the outside but once you taste it you'll start thinking differently. " Why does it taste like this, when Eomma always makes it seem so easy, I miss them," Ryan thought.

Once he finished eating he picked up his dishes and washed them, he slowly went to his room and went face first on the bed he mumbled "What I'm missing in all of this, I have a good family, I'm getting a good education. Life is leading me to the right path I believe, but why do I feel so weird".

He kept on thinking the same things all throughout the day, Once he noticed the time he quickly got prepared to go to bed officially. He set up three alarms just in case he overslept like last time he didn't want to be late to school ever again.

Ryan got into bed and tried to go to sleep but he just couldn't, it felt like his body was trying not to make him sleep. Ryan thought " Oh wow yesterday you wanted to sleep but now it seems like you have so much energy, we need to sleep body or else, you get me body". A million thoughts went through his head like 'Does my body literally doesn't want me to go to sleep' or 'We better go to sleep or were going to do push-ups till we drop dead are we willing to do that' or 'Maybe my body doesn't want me to dream if that true what horrifying things are happening in there'

With his weird threats combined with his paranoia, he would eventually fall asleep. The sleep you can even say was a bit strange no matter what noise you would make and even if you punched him he wouldn't wake up. He slept there unmoving, surrounding him was an ominous aura that would soon enough wreak havoc in his dreams for many days to come.
