JACOB
I had to walk around the buildings of the seniors' dormitories for a while before finding building seven. At the entrance I ran into Quinn.
"Hey, you're early," I said.
"So are you," she retorted.
I followed her into the building, but instead of going up the stairs, she went to a closet.
"Excuse me, aren't the stairs that way?" I asked.
"You want to take the stairs?"
"Not really, but it's not like we have a choice, right?"
Quinn shook her head.
"Don't they have lifts where you come from?"
"I don't know that word," I said.
"Just watch."
She placed her hand on a panel on the door of the closet, and a few moments later the panel glowed faintly. She then opened the door.
"Come in."
