Yu Ling and the mysterious katana man's gazes clashed in the battlefield. The giant ice statue stood behind Yu ling while the mysterious katana man levitated in the sky with a single lonely katana in his hand.
"Little girl, your power is truly special. However, even though I don't have any intentions of trying for the top 5 ranks, I still must defeat anyone in my battlefield or.. wouldn't it be a loss of pride? Especially in this place?" The mysterious katana man had a certain sharpness radiate from his eyes before he spoke, "Hell Sovereign katana art, dark transformation" The single katana in his hand suddenly multiplied to 10. All of them forming a circle in front of him with their blades pointing outward. "MANIFEST" the blades started leaking dark qi as a single handle was formed in between of the fan of katanas connecting each of them.
On the floor, Yu ling stared deep into the mysterious katana man's eyes and lifted her palm pointing it towards his katana fan apparatus. "Freeze" The giant statue behind her started to tremble as a beam of white ice light rushed out and flew towards the katana ring. As it neared half way, the katana ring made a humming sound before a jet black beam also flew out towards the ice beam.
"BOOM" when both beams collided it caused an extremely ear splitting booming sound to erupt. A shockwave radiated out in all directions and both Yu Ling and the ,mysterious katana man were pushed back. The katana ring was completely destroyed by the shockwave and the ice statue had a big crack on it as well.
"Draconic roar" An all black dragon appeared from the mysterious katana man's back and roared out at Yu Ling's fragile looking figure. At this instant, Yu Ling held on tight to the lightning bolt that she captured from the storm caused by Lan Du earlier. She then called out the ice mirror manifesto again and the gigantic ice shard mirror grew out of the ground once again. The dragon roar infused with dark qi blasted on the mirror which then produced a roar the same might however the dark qi was replaced with a cold ice qi and flew back out to the mysterious katana man.
"Ok, this is enough playing now." the illusory dragon grew in size until it became the size of a giant building. It let out a roar again however this time, the roar contained an intense amount of dark qi and was exponentially louder than the one in the past. Yu Ling threw the lightning bolt which disintegrated in front of the loud roar. "Hah, that boy's power amounted to this puny strength" The mysterious katana man was obviously talking about Lan du. Yu ling then infused all her power from the giant statue into the ice mirror.
"ROARRRRRR!" The enormous roar wave slammed onto the mirror trying to destroy it.
"ROA-" The mirror tried to reproduce the same roar however it seemed like it had reached its limit of absorption and began to malfunction and crack.
"Hm? why won't your mirror copy me anymore?" The mysterious katana man laughed and stood back on the floor as he watched Yu Ling's ice mirror shatter into pieces.
"I don't have any other technique stronger than the ones I displayed, therefore I admit defeat." Yu Ling modestly admitted defeat and walked off the stage. The mysterious katana man also walked off the stage and stood beside the competitor's seats.
"Ling'er! are you ok??" Yu Qingsu ran to Yu ling who seemed extremely exhausted.
"Yes.. elder sister, Im just really tired from the battle, I really overdid myself haha.." Yu Ling spoke to her sister while passing out in her arms.
"Its ok, just rest for a while, you did very good today. Im proud of you" Yu Qingsu smiled and took Yu Ling to the resting area.
"That concludes the second ranking battle, now lets go on to the main event! the ranking of the top 5!." Zhou Feng announced. "contestants of the top 5, please make your way on to the stage"

A sweet flowery scent filled the arena, all the younger men were in a daze staring at the young woman walking along the seats of the competitors. "The gods among the heavens are always fighting amongst each other, but why must it be like this? They can all strut through a field of daisies and tulips while smiling at each other and discussing their problems as friends not as enemies! hehe great Zhou Sect, Hua Li of the flower scent faction has arrived!"
"Waaaaa look at her walking on to the stage! if I could fight with such a beauty I wouldn't even mind being killed!" a random young man in the audience was staring at Hua Li while smiling like a complete idiot. The flowery scent of Hua Li was actually infused with a tiny amount of qi which was able to bring out the desires of weak people, especially men.
On the other side of the arena, the temperature began to drop to freezing and snowflakes fell from the skies. Another young woman walked out towards the battlefield. Her dress fluttered in the wind while her fair skin gleamed in the sunlight. "Disciple of the ice crystal faction, Yu Qingsu." Both beauties stared at each other while a sense of rivalry appeared. Both women had a different unique beauty. One had a pure and cold feeling which seemed untouchable while the other had an enchanting smile. Naturally whenever such peak tier beauties appeared together there would be some sort of tense rivalry in the air.
However, it didn't last for long, another silhouette leaped out of the competitor's seats. The temperature changed again, but this time it rose up crazily. The silhouette in question was covered in blazing flames as he leaped into the light of the battlefield. "A forest filled with dead trees can no longer be considered a forest anymore. However, when a blazing fire engulfs it and turns it to ash, the forest then begins to heal and grow into new life. Flame Spirit Faction, Huo Mingliang."
The flames on his body slowly retreated and revealed a handsome face which had a burning indifference to the world.
