I know people would say that me, a human, becoming God, sounds ridiculous, which I know is because even the devil himself agrees.
Mephisto laughed and laughed after learning what I would do for my purpose, but deep down, I knew that he was furious about the decision that I had just made, but in the end, he let me go and decided to go back to wherever he came from.
But before he goes, he gives me a parting word.
"How old are you again? Please be careful with your life. It would be a pity if a beautiful woman like you died at such a young age. After all, I love to have your soul for myself."
With that, he vanishes and leaves me alone.
From that moment onward, I started studying harder and experimenting on something that people said I shouldn't. Still, I didn't care what they said because I finally had something that I wanted to do genuinely, and nobody was going to stop me.
I quit my job and started to travel around the world and learn as much as I could, and it didn't matter what I understood, I knew all the things that I could learn, science, medicine, fighting, math; I learned all of it, and I didn't stop there.
I learn how to build, cook, fight, and use all kinds of tools, including weapons. It seemed to be an impossible feat for a single person to learn all of this, but I could manage it in the end.
Learning was never really a problem for me; every time I learned something, I would absorb all those knowledge like a sponge; the only problem that I have is the fact that I need to do it, after all, knowing how to do it, and doing, is two different things.
But in the end, I was able to master most of the skills I learned, it took quite a lot of time, but I was still able to do it in the end.
After travelling for quite a while around the world, I was able to learn as much as I could, but the problem is, I was only able to learn about the science side of things, there is still the fact that I need to know about magic.
I knew that magic existed, considering that the devil also exists, that is why I spent more time trying to find and learn about magic, but in the end, every source I found would only lead me to those magicians that is nothing more than a faker.
Until one day, I found out about a place called Kamar-Taj; they said this is a magical place that teaches people about magic and is located in the Himalayas.
I still remember it. I was running out of money after a long journey around the world and was on the end of the rope when coming to learning about magic, and when I learn about the place that calls Kamar-Taj, I was debating whether to go there try to find the place or not.
That is when I met him, the writer of Dracula and a mutant named Bram Stoker.
As you can imagine, our first meeting was not very pleasant; I met Bram when he was on a crazed stage where he required a substantial amount of blood for his hunger. I was able to stop his desire and calm him down with my treatment.
At that moment, I started to learn everything about Bram body and how mutations worked and gave him advice on how to deal with hunger and what to do in his condition.
As a payment Bram ask me about what I want, I tell him that I want to learn magic, and instead of laughing and telling me that magic is not real, Bram tells me that he has a book that can help me learn magic.
I was stunned by the fact that Bram knew about magic, but he told me that he learned about magic from none other than Vlad Tepes III or in other words, he learned from Dracula himself, and he even has a book about it.
It seems too good to be true, but I was not going to refuse these kinds of offers, so of course, I accepted them. As a deal, I will help him deal with his mutation.
With it, I moved to his home, a castle located in Transylvania, in Romania, a castle that he had been living in for more than a hundred years.
He called it, The Lair Of The White Worm, named after one of his books; I must admit, it is quite a weird name to give to your castle, but who am I to judge when my name is Mary Shelley?
Of course, I did ask him about Dracula, and he only said that Dracula is an interesting fellow, and that is all he said about him, so I only leave just that.
So with it, I start to experiment and learn about Bram body, trying to find out about everything that causes Bram to be this way.
The first most drastic I ever do is the implant of Bram body parts, I suggested to Bram, asking him whether he wanted to find out about it or not, and to my surprise, he agreed to the experiment.
Just like that, using my knowledge and power, I was to transplant and change my eyes to Bram's eyes, and I learned about all the side effects and benefits it would give.
I must admit that I am quite jealous of Bram power and how much potential he truly have with it; it is one of the strongest mutations I have ever seen in my life, with a power like this, with the right planning and execution, Bram could infect everyone in the world, without doubt, take over the world if he wanted to.
The only thing that is holding it back is Bram himself.
But with it, I started to learn about magic from Bram book, it is a slow process, and the magic in the book is labelled as more of dark magic, you could say, not surprising considering it is a magic book that he got from Dracula.
The magic inside the book is related to more soul and blood-related, and there is all of horrible in there. The book even has a spell that would summon devils to make a contract with.
But the spell that catches my eyes the most is probably the so-called resurrection spell. It was a spell that caught my attention the most, and reading its description, and I can only say that the spell is only a pseudo resurrection spell, not a complete one resurrection.
But with me learning that spell it helps me to start my first major project.
That project is, of course, the task of me creating life.
