Well, would you look at that? Look like whatever spell she perform or cast work. She did it.
All I can hear now is the sound of Mary laughter that sounds very disturbing; she seems to be crackling madly and having the time of her life right now.
Now, since she did it, what then?
She creates life, but what will she do with it?
This... thing in front of me is no human nor animal, and it's nothing more than a being that is an amalgamation of different living things. Not to mention, the soul or souls that this thing has, what would that lead into?
In Frankenstein, the reckless pursuit of scientific discovery leads to chaos, tragedy, and despair for all novel characters.
The pursuit of science and technology without regard for societal consequences can have disastrous results. In Frankenstein, Victor embodies the concept of unrestrained science, leading to a massive tragedy that he created.
What is happening right in front of me is the same thing in the book.
In the reckless pursuit of crossing the line between science and magic, Mary only cares about the result, not the consequences.
Of course, the consequences can be both good or bad, nobody truly knows, but most of the time, being too reckless can lead to a disastrous result.
A monster made up of ten different people souls, what will it truly make?
A human?
A human that is not truly a human?
What will that thing indeed be?
Then what about Mary, who successfully created life, who had taken the first step on surpassing God.
But what she will do with this monster?
What will its purpose be?
God created humans, but for what reason did he have to create humans? We don't know.
Maybe he only created humans because he could, not because he wanted to, and what genuinely gave humanity the ''purpose'' was none other than the snake who tricked Eve to eat the apple of knowledge.
The same can also be said about Mary. She can now create life, but what purpose will she give the monster? What will she do with it?
Will it have a purpose? Or will it simply live like a doll with no purpose until given one?
I don't know.
~3rd POV~
Mary keeps laughing madly while Ryu stares at the monster, still letting out a roar that seems to be genuinely out of this world.
The monster keeps struggling and moving, trying to get free out of its restraint. Its head keeps moving wildly, looking around amidst panic and confusion before its eyes land on Ryu, who is still looking at it passively.
The monster roar becomes even more feral, and it tries even more challenging to get out of its restrain, while its eyes lock onto Ryu while it tries to get free.
Mary, who finally calmed down and stopped laughing, looked on curiously, wanting to see what happened next.
After all, what she sees from the monster in this short period, she can see that it have some intelligence, enough intelligence to the point where it is recognised for an unknown reason.
Finally, the monster snapped out of its restain, and its tentacle launched forward, aiming toward Ryu, whose eyes widened slightly, seeing the monster first action of getting is to attack him.
Rashomon quickly appeared and ate the space in Ryu, which immediately stopped the monster attack right on its track.
The monster then leapt forward, with a swing of its massive crab arm, going down toward Ryu, who stared at this passively, but before he knew it, the crab part of the monster started to glow slightly red, and the swing of it crab arm was able to break to Rashomon shield.
Ryu is now completely surprised by what just happened, seeing how its crab arm was able to glow red similar to his Rashomon and was be able to break through Rashomon devoured space ability.
But even then, Ryu was still faster, and Rashomon flared out, flying toward the monster crab and tentacle arm before cutting both rights off, causing the monster to roar in pain.
Before Ryu can continue his assault, the monster does something Ryu or Mary expected. It's somehow growing its arm back, and it looks the same as the previous arm that Ryu cut off.
Ryu immediately knew how it was able to regenerate.
'It has Bram regenerating power?!' Ryu thought
He knows that Bram has a compelling healing factor and can regenerate new bodies part in a second, considering after seeing how Bram could restore his arm after getting it cut off by Mary.
It would not be too far fetch; no, it would make a lot of sense for Ryu that the monster has some part of Bram DNA.
As for Mary, who is still watching this, she can only grin like a madwoman seeing the result of her creation, to be functional enough to have its intelligence and have the ability to use other people power as long as it has the DNA for it.
Which for Mary opened a whole different door of possibility because now she knew she could create a living thing that had all kinds of powers.
The monster, who now has its arms regrow back, raises those arms into the air, and electricity starts to come out of its arms, which Ryu immediately know how and why it was able to do it.
'Of course, it also has her DNA in it.'
The monster also has Mary's DNA, which would probably surprise no one.
The monster brings its arms down shooting electricity at Ryu, who could block it easily with Rashomon.
Ryu then starts to have a question about this whole situation.
'Why is this thing attacking me? And how is it be able to use other people power, because last time I check, just because you have different people blood DNA in it, doesn't mean they will be able to use their power immediately?
I mean, I get it for Bram case, but for Mary too? That seems very unlikely, except if Mary has some spell that makes the monster be able to harness different people power by having their DNA inside it?' Ryu thought to himself.
Meanwhile, while all of this is happening out far in the sky, a pitch-black plane is flying toward the castle with an immense speed, and on the plane, there is a massive X logo on it.
Which can only mean one thing, the X-men is coming.
