"I can't let you kill him yet, ''sister''."
The skeleton lady seems to be tense up hearing the thing voice behind her and feeling the hand grabbing her shoulder.
The skeleton lady then put me down, causing me to land on the ground with a thud before I started to rub my throat, still feeling the pain coming from that grip alone.
"What are you doing here, Oblivion?" The skeleton lady asks, turning back to face the thing that is named Oblivion.
"As I told you, I'm here to stop you from killing him." Oblivion said while pointing his finger toward me.
"You... No wonder this child power looks pretty familiar to me somehow. He is one of your, isn't he?"
"Maybe he is, maybe he isn't." Oblivion said cryptically.
Both of them stare down at each other. None of them seems to be backing down from this confrontation at all.
The aura around them also seem to change; that skeleton lady starts to feel like... Well, death itself, just breathing alone, make me feel like I would die, and simply by existing there, I feel like I'm going to die any moment.
As for the other aura coming from that Oblivion, I felt nothing, not as in there is no aura, but as in like I am floating in a heavy void of space, that is similar to...
'That guy aura... is similar to back then.' That is the only thing that comes to my mind.
Oblivion's aura is the same feeling I had back then when I backed out from my injuries and before I woke up in the middle of the forest; it gives me the same feeling as back then.
So back then was not a dream at all, but reality. Then that begs the question of how I ended up to whatever and wherever that was.
Finally, those auras disappear, and a feeling of relief comes over me, and I take a deep breath that I seem to be unconsciously holding.
"Fine, you can take him, and don't show your face here again." The skeleton lady said with a snap of her finger before the surrounding area disappeared.
What is left of it is nothing more than an empty void of space itself, a void of space that seems to be the same one as the one when I was unconscious.
"Now that she is gone, I think we can finally talk." The thing that name Oblivion said, "You probably have so many questions right now, and one of those questions is perhaps about the fact that who am I?
You probably know from her that the universe is made out of different aspects that make up the universe itself, and I am one of those aspects, the oldest of them all.
My name to some, at least, is Oblivion. Before creation was... I was. Where creation ends... I wait. I am the void. The breath between life and death. Between death and rebirth. The nothing from which the everything springs.
The form that you see are illusions that I create for your benefit, not mine. For if you looked upon as who I truly am. You would cease to exist."
The nothingness? He is the personification of nothingness, the void and the unknown itself?
"Your guess is correct; that is who I am. To put it in a way that you truly understand, you love those things called books, right? Please think of me as... the paper used for those books, and the story written on those papers is the universes themselves.
Before those stories, there is me, the paper, and after the story, there will be me, the blank piece of paper."
Did you read my mind?
"I did; it was something straightforward to do, really."
Then what the hell did you want? Are you to also make a deal with me too?
"Deal with you? No, no... I would never do something like that; I am here to tell you a little... story you could say, to make everything more interesting for me."
A story?
"Yes, a story, so listen closely because I will only tell you this once.
The prologue starts with He Who Annihilates, a devil to some, god to the other, he whose only purpose is destruction shall be the one that starts it all. He will destroy any being that threatens his existence.
The first act, come the primordial darkness and chaos that existed before the universe, the self-proclaim King of Chaos, August Star of Heaven, he shall rise from the East and bring forth the unforgettable darkness to all things in the universe.
When the darkness and the titan have been defeated, the second act shall begin.
Come from the deepest of the void, The King in Black shall descend to the universe with his army of dragons. The Parasite God with his sword shall cut down The Light of the universes, bringing the eternal darkness.
At the final act, The Dragon of The End shall rise from nothingness and darkness, eating everything in its path and consuming the whole universe. The Absolute Dragon of The Void shall make everything go back to sleep and start to dream once more."
What? What was that? That thing you just told me sounds more like a prophecy than a story; that doesn't make any sense.
"Maybe it is, maybe it is not. You can interpret it however you want. It does not matter to me. Three acts before the end, what will you do with it, I wonder. But I think this is the time for you to go; I have taken too much of all of your time. This will be a goodbye, for now."
Wait, what are you-!?

"Hm... this still going? Don't you think we already have enough universes in these voids? Honestly, all of this should not have existed at all, and yet here it is, existing.
Admit it; you have all been tired of all these universes. They all had existed for far too long as if they think; they still have some value to continue existing... and for what?
It's long past time, don't you think, that all of those creations should finally return to me? To finally have all things and beings close their eyes... and finally, rest? Many have tried, but all of them failed in the end because... Well, they are not me, just one aspect that I am.
Ah, everything is so flimsy, and all it will take is one big push before all of the universes come back to me. The annihilation of all universes is just a heartbeat away.
So why don't all of us watch it come to an end together, shall we?"
