Chu Hua went downstairs when it's was time for dinner. She saw Muqin and Yan Zi coming out of Li Mei's room. What were they planning?
She came back from work few hours ago. The shock of Li Mei's home coming made her to stay indoors. They knew Mei was coming but kept quiet to shock her. She was very impressed with the way they played the game. But they were not her problem right now, Li Lian was.
He did not come back home as usual. His phone was switched off. At the beginning, he was not picking up her calls. But now, it was obvious that he did not wish to talk to her.
When Chu Hua got to the table, she greeted them all and sat down.
"Where is Li Lian?" Is he not coming downstairs?" Elder Li asked, with his brow furrowed. He spoke against lateness to events and Li Lian was aware of that. "Where is he ?"
Chu Hua felt like hiding her face from the family. "He is yet to come back from work, father."
"Why? Didn't you call him?"
"He is not picking my calls."
