Li Lian was disappointed by her questions. If his parents were not there , Chu Hua would have been scolded by him. Muqin was confused as to what was happening. Her face was full of worries. This scared him because she was having health issues.
Her health was his first priority.
Elder Li questioning eyes traveled round the room , waiting for an explanation. He wanted to know what happened while he was away.
"You should not say what you don't know , Chu Hua" Yan Zi lips widened up to her cheeks as she tried to be polite.
"But I am telling the truth here , mother" She said, instantly. "Just yesterday, Yang Mi got employ at the marketing department with out us being informed. Today , Li Lian was invited for dinner and we knew nothing about it."
"Who are you to keep track of what my brother does ?" Li Mei asked, standing from the table. Her eyes were red as she furiously looked at Chu Hua with hatred.
