Anderson
"I'm getting another coffee…" I dragged the chair backwards wishing it could make that dramatic screeching sound so I could make everyone in this room uncomfortable the best way I could.
"Could you make some for me…" Joe asked with a pity face but my facial expression must have been that of the devil because his face immediately straightened out.
"Never mind," He said in a thin voice before clearing his throat and swinging his chair to face the sound board.
Hakeem gave me a weird look holding unto his kit bag, he looked like he was about to say something but then decided against it and looked away. My heart did a little dip that I didn't understand. Was I really waiting for him to say something?? To send us back to our usual bickering back and forth until someone was in the mud or had water spilled over.
I walked away towards the exit. I wasn't sure if I really wanted to get coffee or a bottle of water or just some time to clear my head as to why I was suddenly jealous of the fact that someone was getting his attention more than I was. I shaked my head physically, a poor attempt to keep him away from my mind but I didn't work of course. His degrading eyes was plastered at the back of my mind and his scent, something about his scent you couldn't exactly pick up, it was generally present but at the same time you couldn't trace it to any other scent out there.
Lost in his head, he didn't realize when he ran into Darla who seemed to be talking to Chris and Bella his kid sister.
"Ouch!!!" Darla cried, glaring at him before softenen her facial expression as she should.
She could only talk to Anderson anyhow she liked when they were alone but not when they were around other people like his sister or the elders or his father.
But that's not his problem right now. His problem was why his sister was in their band house and not in some random European country spending money recklessly until her bank account bleed and then she would have it filled again only to repeat the same goddamn process.
She had pretty musch a million plus followers on IG which was accumulated by showing of different brand collections she had just recently purchased. They were actual very different people, in the way they thought and behaved, very different.
Bella was daddy's little sweetheart who could do no wrong and found her place at the top of the hierarchy. She naturally fitted into her habitat and adopted all of our father's shitty qualities and characteristics like Being rude and blunt as hell, too proud and pompous, having a problem with everyone around them and they could never be the problem, thinking they could have about anything they wanted and lastly, thinking they could control what other people did or wanted just because they held some amount of power.
"Sorry Darla, I was lost in thoughts and I couldn't even recall leaving the recording room.
"Its no problem. What about the new drummer, isn't he suppose to like drum for us for the opening performance. I could really need your support there, plus Joe's an asshole, I don't want to sit and talk to him." She rambled awkwardly, standing in front of me saying absolutely nothing, just moving restlessly in a spot so I moved aside so she could pass and she hurried away which was weird. If anything, she used to be so confident and outspoken that now she was being all weird, I couldn't wait till I was alone so I could text her to know if she was okay.
"Hey, what are you doing here anyways huh. Daddy sent you to spy on me again?? To see if I wasn't being carried away by the world shit??" He narrowes his eyes down at his sister wraring a black oversized hoodie and matching pants even though it was fucking hot at this time of the year.
"Nope, I heard you guys got a new drummer and I wanted to see him. Darla told me he's really hot, so chill big brother. Besides, Dad only asked me to spy on you that one time in Vatican," She spoke to confidently, not even giving two shits that she was speaking to the next alpha, anyone else would have been trembling due tk the tone of voice i was using but I guess it's true, blood does really takes away some privileges.
"Besides, I only spied on you that one time. Just that once!!" She raised her hands up in the air like I was being the most dramatic person she has ever come across.
"That one time??? What about Austria??"
I listened on one finger.
"That wasn't spying, we literally had dinner together," She replied.
"Hungary??"
"I just happened to be in Hungary for a sponsorship deal."
"Morocco??"
"I love their art,"
"Alaska??"
"I was modeling a new snowboarding line I had invested in last year"
"Panama??"
"Wait, you were in Panama with me last year?? Okay okay okay, enough. Sorry to break it to you big brother but the world doesn't revolve around you and your soon to be alpha self alright," She snapped, walking around me and going towards the room that I just left behind.
I took some water from the bottle I was already drinking from and watched my face a bit cleaning it with some dry paper towel. All of this didn't help in taking away this man from my mind, it was fruitless no matter how hard I tried. Maybe I just needed to hate him more and give him more shit, maybe if I do that, he would move far away from here, prolly get out of America back to his home country so I won't have to deal with all of this.
I went back to the recording room to find some hard core performance going on, it was a fully instrumental performance and Hakeem's hair was everywhere as he seemed to be in his element drumming to Link park's song.
"Okay. I think I wanna marry him…"
