My mom dragged me to my room in a hurry and she was looking like she just saw a ghost.
"Elena, how could you sneak out of the palace like that, your life could have been in great danger" mom said panicking.
"Oh mom, am fine am no longer a little girl and I can take care of myself" I said with pouted lips.
"You don't know what you have done by leaving the castle walls" she said with a scolding look.
"Mom am fine and I made a new friend, his name is Chris" I said excited.
"Foolish girl, you are never to see that prince ever again" she said angrily. "We have protected you from those filthy benders for 13 years and I won't be defeated" she added
"Mom, u know Chris and what do you mean by protecting me from benders" I said.
"Forget about that, for now you are grounded and never allowed to leave your room "mom said
"What? Grounded? But mom please, if am grounded how will I be able to see Chris and thank him again for today" I said while begging my mom.
"I said you are grounded and that's final and if you ever go to see that Chris you will come back home to meet my dead body" mom said seriously.
"But mom he actually saved my life today" I said and explained everything that happened with Johan.
"What have you done Elena? Oh no this is very bad, they will come after you now" her mom said. "I have spoilt you so much and now I have to suffer for it" her mom said with teary eyes
"Mom what's wrong just tell me please" I said worriedly. "I can't keep hidding away all my life cos of you and dad fear of my life being in danger, and besides I only left for a few minutes" I added
"Two seconds is enough for those benders" my mom said and left the room.
"What did she mean by benders?". I said in my mind then I remembered that Chris said something about having magic and that his brother can control earth.
"Wait a second, why didn't I ask about what he meant" I said to myself. "Because you were too busy oogling at my beauty" a voice said from the shadows. "Who is there" I said a bit scared.
"We just saw 30mins ago and you already forgot my voice" the voice said. "Christian" I said. Then he walked out of the shadows.
It was him Christian. I was happy to see him but I remembered what my mom said.
"How did you come into my room" I said seriously. "I told you I have magic" he said simply. "I don't believe in magic, and I know you just said that so that I won't ask more questions".
"Hmph...." He chuckled. "I think you should ask your parents to tell you the truth about your birth and how you are connected to the benders" he said "for now I won't rush you" he added.
"Wait wat do u mean by that" I said confused. "Tell your dad to tell you about 'Dina Lina veist and watch his reaction" Chris said
