The next day Sarah was called into the UISF Directors to give a full report on what she did yesterday with Alex. Of course the Director knew everything that happened already since she was spying on them through the hidden cameras around the base. She was just curious about him, not a stalker.
Sarah was sitting across from her recounting the tour she took him on yesterday, even included when they were in his hospital room catching back up at the end.
The Director knew that Sarah missed her brother alot the past two years, it was the sole reason she agreed to join the UISF in the first place. So she assumed that Sarah was conflicted about having to give her full recount on yesterdays event but was glad nonetheless that she didn't leave anything out.
"Did he not tell you anything about his time in the other world." The director asked.
"Hmm no I did ask but he either dodged the question or ignored it."
"And he didn't tell you how he was able to make it back to Earth."
"When I asked he had a very sad and forlorn look on his face. So I assume it cost him something important."
"Ok thank you. Your dismissed, get back to work."
Sarah stood up from her chair, did a slight bow and than left the room.
Now alone in her office the Director was thinking about the past few days when they found Alex. Usually when they find someone who can use magic she leaves it to her subordinates to take care of. For some reason though the moment she laid eyes on his file and his picture, her heart started to beat a little faster.
(Sorry I forgot to put her name it's, Olivia Strongborn. Still a new author sorry.)
Olivia's parents taught her that no matter what strength reins true. That it didn't matter how much money or how smart you were if you were not strong enough to use what you have at your disposal, than you were weak. She didn't have time growing up for relationships or love it was purely training and studying. This was completely normal though for her race and infact she enjoys training, it's part of the reason she is so strong now.
She just didn't know that those butterflies in her heart were low level seeds that were starting to sprout. Into something more intimate, but for now it is merely a strong curiosity towards Alex.
Deciding that now is as good a time as any she calls in her assistant. She tells her assistant to get word to Alex that she wants to meet with him. Her assistant nods her head and than leaves.

Alex's hospital room.
Alex was laying down on the hospital bed as he just finished his light workout. He couldn't do much as the UISF didn't allow him to use there training area and he couldn't leave without a guard.
All he could do was crunches, push ups, knee kicks and planks. He did three sets with one hundred reps each, and for planks he did three reps for one minute.
It wasn't much but he was able to get his heart rate up and break a little bit of a sweat. He was relaxing when he smelled that someone was at the door, one that he didn't recognize.
Before the person even had a chance to knock on the door Alex called out.
"Come in."
Surprised that Alex was able to tell that they were at the door, they hesitantly opened the door.
"CREAK"
The person who came to get Alex was fairly cute looking female. She was wearing a black business suit but instead of pants she opted for a skirt. Everything about her screamed normal, her hair color was a chestnut brown. Her eyes were black and her body proportions were noticable however nothing about them grabbed attention. Everything about her was perfectly normal.
The woman was the assistant to the Director and as such has met many different kinds of people. Some had powerful magic, some were very weak but had a strong body and some weren't even human.
However the person before her Alexander Lykos seemed completely different. Everything about him was calm his aura clothes and the was he sat was all like it was designed to put people at ease. Which in fact it was though she didn't know that. She couldn't get a good read on him besides the fact that everything about him was calm.
knowing she had work to do she stopped thinking about it and did what she came here for.
"Mr Lykos I am here on behalf of the Director. She would like to meet with you." She said.
Alex looked at her for a few seconds than answered.
"... Ok lead the way."
Alex got up of the bed threw his sweat towel on it and followed the assistant out the door. When they got to the elevator he noticed that she took out a key card and scanned it over the buttons.
"BEEP"
'It seemed that the card was used for the more exclusive and top secret floors. I should see if I can steal one.' Alex thought to himself as he followed her into the elevator. She pushed a black button with no number or wording on it and we started to move upwards.
As they started moving closer and closer to their destination a certain smell assailed his nose. It was a smell that he has never experienced before. To him it was the sweetest smell ever. A mixture of coconut and honey, was all of a sudden the best smell in the world to him.
"BA-DUMP"
"BA-DUMP"
The closer he got to the source of the smell his pulse quickened and heart beat faster. So many emotions were swirling into his mind at one time.
Anger
Nervousness
Sadness
LOVE!
These weren't new emotions to Alex he did live a pretty happy life until he was summoned. The only problem was that these weren't his emotions that he was feeling.
'They belonged to the same person who has that smell' a sudden thought crossed his mind. He settled his breathing and heart rate to calm back down. A small smile appeared on his face, he couldn't wait to meet whoever the smell belongs to.
