Chapter 78 - Chapter 77

Hisoki groaned at the sound of his phone ringing from beside him. Hisoki sighed, sitting up. He had suddenly felt tired, even though he had slept well the night before. He reached to grab his phone, answering it. "Hello?" He muttered. The voice on the other end sighed, quiet chatter in the background. "Can you come over?" Hisoki sighed, his face turning into a smile.

Wafi.

Hisoki looked around before getting out of bed. "Yeah, is something wrong?" Hisoki asked, grabbing a long sleeve shirt and some pants. He had heard it was freezing outside, and the professor did not want to deal with that. "Uh….. Kinda. Not- it depends.." Wafi mumbled, his voice lowering slightly. Hisoki only slid his clothes on faster. "Am I going to your place?" Wafi hums, his voice becoming louder again. Hisoki grabs his keys and bag, before heading out. He was going to hang up, right when he heard Wafi say something.

"You're ok with being tied up, right?"

Hisoki froze, his hand on the metal handlebar. Why would they need to tie him up? Was that just one of Wafi's sex jokes he likes to make. Or was that an actual. He could feel Heko's presence, watching over him. Hisoki pulls his car door open. "Um, last time I checked…. No." He murmured. Then again, the last time he checked he was in tenth grade, a week before he called the cops."ok, gotta go. Bye bye-"

And the phone clicked.

______

Hisoki stepped inside the house, Baker having opened it. Everyone was there, in small groups talking to each other. How serious was this? Mago looked up and took a breath. He walked over to Hisoki, grabbing his hand and pulling him to a chair. "I- what's happening?" Hisoki asked worriedly. Yodhi lightly taps the chair, Hisoki sitting down. "We want to tell you something, but we fear that we might bring out a different alter. So for safety we kinda want to tie you up."

Tie him up. They were scared of him.

Hisoki stared at them for a moment, before silently nodding. It was understandable, he was scared of the exact same thing that they were. Mago stared at him sadly, before walking up to him. He started at the ankles, tying them to the chair instead of together. Then he did his hands. The boy kept glancing up at HIsoki, only for the professor to give him a smile.

The tanned boy tied lightly on the rope, before looking up. "Too tight?" He murmured, laying his forearms on Hisoki's knees. "No, I'm fine." Hisoki whispered just as quietly, clasping his hands together. Mago stared at him one more time before nodding, stepping back. Hisoki leaned back slightly in his chair. Yoshi shook his head, obviously exasperated. "This is so stubid, I can't believe that we have to tie him up. He's not going to hurt us." Yoshi muttered.

No one said anything to him, instead everyone was still staring at Hisoki. "Well? Please tell me I didn't drive across town just to get tied up. You said you wanted to talk about something." Hisoki encouraged me. He mentally prepared himself for the worst. What could they possibly want? It couldn't be good, or else none of this would be happening. Hisoki stood in silence, before Mago stepped up. He crouched so they were at eye level. He smiled sadly at Hisoki.

"I- we.... Love you. And each other. More than we ever thought, ever dreamed was possible.."

Hisoki looked at the ground, listening to every word that Mago had just said. Playing it backwards in his mind, time and time again. Listening for any contradicting statement. He was happy, smiling with tears in his eyes. A grin brushed lightly on his face, revealing rare dimples and a hidden smile. He felt like a child again, with butterflies in his stomach and love deep within his heart. It cured him of any darkness HIsoki thought he had. Any evil.

But then, evil took over.

_______

Yoshi sucked in a breath, hugging himself. He noticed the small smile that turned into a frown on Hisoki's face. It worried the boy. Maybe he wouldn't get the happily ever after Yoshi had hoped for. THen again, he was right. Things don't end up this perfectly. Baker grabbed his hand, squeezing it lightly. Just to remind him the Baker was there, that they all were.

Hisoki's head slowly raised, scanning the area as if it was new. As if Hisoki had never seen it before. However the scan stopped at Harley, his normal frown turning into a snarl. Kai stepped up slightly, only for Harley to pull him back. "Hisoki?" Harley warned, whispering quietly. Hisoki shook his head, looking back down towards the ground. He pulled at the pieces of rope. HIs eyes widened, quickly looking down before back up at them.

"I knew it."

That wasn't Hisoki.

"Sahae, listen-""You put him in a chair, tie him up."The altar looks down at the ropes once again. "Why? I thought you loved him?" Sahae asked sarcastically, a dead look on his face. He couldn't hurt them physically, but he still could with his words. "Sahae, we did it because we didn't want you to hurt us." Kai reasoned, grabbing Baker's hand, which tried to grab Yoshi's, but the brunette pulled away.

"So ignorant."Sahae muttered to himself, staring down at his hands. "Who?" Harley asked quietly. Sahae looked up, tears in his eyes. Sahae was..... crying.

"Get out." Everyone stared at Yoshi like he was delusional. He wasn't, Yoshi was never delusional. "Yoshi- you can't be serious."Wafi questioned, obviously startled. But Yoshi shook his head. "Let me talk to him." Yoshi only got more blank stares. "Wait five minutes, then you can come back out."

And they listened.
