Chapter 31 - Chapter 30

Baker quietly looked around Hisoki's room. He was scared the other would walk in and get mad at him, but he was curious. When he woke up, he had a killer headache. It felt like it would last forever. However, he wasn't going to let this moment go to waste with a silly headache. One of the first things the youngest saw was a bear, with stains. There was a magenta colored ribbon tied around its neck, making the bear look even older. He wondered how long Hisoki had this for.

He held the bear, feeling it's weight on the limbs and head. Baker smiled lightly, he was going to ask Hisoki about this. It was cute, why would his teacher have something like this. Maybe he'll even let the student have it. He scratched his head, before walking to the door and opening it. That's when he heard the sound of crying.

Baker rushed quickly to the main room, the bear still in his hand. Harley sat on the ground, between Hisoki's legs. He leaned on Hisoki, crying. Hisoki looked up sadly. "It's a long story that shouldn't be explained. Can you get everyone up?" HIsoki asked kindly. Baker stared at him for a moment. What happened? Why were they hugging and not arguing? Something happened in the last hour, and Baker wanted to know.

However, he sighed and nodded his head. He did have to wake the others up. "Ok." He agreed, Hisoki giving him an encouraging smile. Though that smile quickly ended when he gasped, before looking away from Baker. "Put that bear back where you found it." He said strictly. Baker furrowed his eyebrows, but nodded. What happened? Why was Harley crying, he thought Harley never cried.

Baker stepped out of the room, confusion and worryness obvious on the face. He knocked on Yoshi's and Kai's door, before opening it. Both were asleep, cuddling in each other's arms, ugh cute. He walks up to Kai, grabbing his arm and shaking him. "Kai, time to get up. Yoshi, get up. Wakey wakey, eggs and bakey." Baker jokes. Kai groaned, before standing up, stretching his back. He nudged Yoshi. "Come on." He muttered. Yoshi listened, steadily sat up, looking over at Baker and smiling. "Hi, Bakery," Baker smiles at the cute nickname.

Kai gets up, instantly pulling Baker into a hug with his eyes closed. Baker froze for a second. "Thanks Baker, for calling Hisoki last night." He mumbled, pulling back from the hug. Baker silently nodded. Yoshi walked out the room, shutting the door behind him. Baker watched for a moment, before his eyes went back to Kai's. He seemed so genuine, so honest with himself. Baker doesn't really believe that Kai has ever lied to anyone. "I just didn't want anyone to get hurt. Everybody was a little crazy last night." Baker explained, shyly patting the other on the shoulder before walking out of the room, however Kai pulled him back in.

At first, Baker thought the other was going to kiss him. But, that wasn't what happened. He pulled him back inside the room, handing him a pillow. "We can't just wake them up nicely, can we?" Kai asked, laughing. Baker jokingly thought about what Kai had said, before dramatically humming. "You are very right about that, Kai. I believe we should show them our gratitude. He set the brown bear on the nightstand, before opening the door once again.

Kai followed him down the hall, after the bathroom and into Wafi and Mago's room. Only Mago was awake, typing something on his phone. He looked up at the two, noticing the pillows. He slowly got out of bed, walking towards them. "I am not a part of that." He said, before stepping out of the room. Kai shut the door after him, before going up to jump on the bed. Baker quickly followed as he slammed his white pillow down, earning a groan from Wafi.

Baker and Kai continued hitting him in different places. On the stomach, on his back, on his head. Only until Wafi grabbed a pillow to shield himself. Wafi was a master at the pillow arts, and even though it was two against one, they both knew who would win. Baker, out of breath, throws the pillow onto the bed, watching Wafi get up. "You two are worse than me." He muttered, obviously still tired. Baker didn't feel bad though.

Wafi walked around the bed, throwing his pillow down as well. 'We aren't that bad. Besides you totally-" Kai gets cut off when a squeal comes from the kitchen. They looked at each other for a moment, before stepping out of the room. The three boys walk down the hall, to see Yoshi, holding a small dog. Yoshi turned around to look at him. The dog was fully- what the hell?! "Uh…. Yoshi. You know you're holding up a pink dog, right?" Kai asked hesitantly. How can a dog be pink? Where did science go?

Hisoki looked over at them, waving. "Hey, it seems like you all had a fun sleep. Yoshi, please stop strangling my dog." Hisoki said calmly. Yoshi quickly nodded, setting the dog on the ground. It was a white pomeranian, well it was supposed to be. Now it was a pink pomeranian. Still, very cute. Baker walks into the kitchen, whilst the others walk into the living room. Hisoki, I wanna know. What happened?" He asked, his voice lowering. He glanced at Harley. He seemed like he wasn't crying a few minutes ago. He was playing some game on his phone, looking up at the others every now and then to see what they were doing.

The professor doesn't say anything for a moment, continuing to pour different ingredients into the blender. "It's nothing, I promise. He and I had a conversation, that's all." He explained, smiling to Baker. He forced himself to smile back.

The dog ran into the kitchen, running around Baker's legs. "Um, why is your dog pink?" Yoshi asked, picking up the dog. Hisoki smiled softly. "It was for breast cancer month since it's October. Plus, I think he only likes the color pink." Hisoki says, turning his body to face Baker. He smiled at him. "You two look so cute." He mumbled to himself, but Baker still heard it. He smiled at the complement, his face going red in an instant. He hides his face by adjusting the dog so he is in front of it. He looked as pink as the dog!

Why did his crush have to be so perfect!?
