Chapter 28 - Chapter 27

Mago was somewhat annoyed with everyone one in that room, well besides Baker and Yoshi. But that was it. They had to put Harley and Kai in time out, but they were still glaring at each other. Baker was talking to Kai, and Yoshi was talking to Harley. Mago stood there, look at the two boys, while Wafi was sitting on the couch, playing on his phone.

There was a soft knock on the door, Baker and Wafi looking over. Baker was about to stand up, but Mago waved him off. He stood up, walking over to the door. "If it's the police, let's just say that I'm babysitting you." Mago plans, turning his back to the door, before looking back at the door He turns, opening the door, before freezing.

"Shit, Hisoki. What are you doing here?" He asks. Hisoki gives Mago a disappointed look that the boy knew all too well. "Move." He says simply, Mago frowning. No way was he going to do that. "Oh uh, no. Why are you at Baker's house? I'm helping with their homework-"

"Last time I checked, homework didn't contain alcohol and fights. I won't ask again, move." Shit, for the second time. Mago hesitantly moved to the side, letting Hisoki inside. Hisoki walks into the main room silently, his heels clicking as he walks. They didn't notice him walk in, until he lightly kicked the empty canned cocktail onto the floor. Yoshi was first to look, having to do a double take to actually understand who it is. "Shit!" He yells, quickly standing. Everybody looks at him, and he looks back grimly.

He sucks in a breath for a moment, Hisoki has never been as intimidating as he is now. "I get it, you are adults. You wanna do adult things, but I expected you to act better than this. Especially you, Mago." He says, looking up at Mago. He had never made Hisoki mad, because the man never got mad. But, he had made the professor disappointed once, it was one of the worst times in his life. "We're sorry, Hisoki. We just wanted to have some fun." Yoshi mumbled, looking down at the floor. Mago followed his lead.

Hisoki was quiet for a moment, before sighing. "Come on, you guys are staying at my house." Hisoki mumbled, sliding his hands into his trousers pockets. He had the same outfit he had on when he ran out of the classroom earlier today. Wafi looked at him, confused. "What do you mean?" Wafi asked, standing up from his seat. Baker had already started cleaning up the small mess.

"Do you really need your parents to know that you were drunk? Also, I would rather not risk my students getting into an accident because they were irresponsible." Hisoki reasoned, stepping out of the room. Mago let out a breath of relief, placing a hand to his chest. "Holy shit, that was stressful." Mago muttered, Wafi shoving him jokingly while laughing, grabbing the empty box. "I am curious, how the hell did Hisoki find out what we were doing?" Yoshi asked, standing up. He sighed, shutting his eyes. "Obviously, someone snitched." Harley said, combing a hand through his hair.

Baker looked up, as if his name was called. "I did. I don't want a fight to happen, and I didn't want anyone to get hurt. Your parents would kill you, your lucky I called Hisoki." Baker said simply, walking out. Yoshi quietly followed after, Mago quickly going along. He hugs the brown haired boy from behind. "Don't be like that, come on. He's not mad." He could tell Yoshi was ashamed of himself, which he shouldn't be. "Yes he is." Yoshi and Mago walk outside, Hisoki's car running in front of him. The headlights are shining brightly through the crisp, october night.

Yoshi walked up to the car, opening the door and sliding in all the way to the other side. Mago followed behind him, sitting in the passenger's seat.. There were three different rows, two on the first, two on the second, and three on the third. Everyone filed in, walking to the back and mid row. Hisoki was on his phone, texting someone. "Hey.." Mago mumbled quietly. Hisoki looked over at him, before looking back at his phone. Maybe he was mad?

"I know you're mad at me, but I really didn't do it to hurt them. I just wanted a drink for myself, but then they tagged along." Mago said, trying to make a flimsy excuse for himself. Hisoki didn't say anything to him. "What's wrong?" Mago asked quietly. That finally got his attention, sighing and setting his phone down. The car was mostly silent, only quiet whispers as Hisoki shifted gears. "You smell like alcohol." He says stiffly, beginning the drive to his house.

"I got a cut from a knife yesterday while opening packages." Mago said, shrugging his shoulders. Hisoki chuckled quietly, his disappointed stare shifting to a grin. Mago smiled as well. "You know what I mean." He says, looking into the mirror. Yoshi and Baker were sleeping on each other, while Wafi and Kai were on their phones. Harley was looking out the window.

Hisoki grabs his phone, handing it to Mago. "Order food for all of them. I don't care what it is, but they are already going to have a bad headache in the morning, so at least the food won't make them throw up." Hisoki explained, Mago nodding his head. They all looked tired, but still there. Mago was an idiot for doing that to them.

"You know, out of everyone, I didn't expect Baker to drink." Hisoki observed quietly, Mago smiling and nodding. "He didn't really want to. But he wanted to try it, and now here he was. I don't think he will remember much though." Hisoka full-heartedly laughed as he edged to a stop light. "That's not funny, but you're not wrong. Do you think he's a light drinker?" Hisoki asked. He wasn't mad, not anymore. His voice was light and calm. "Hell, no. He had like five or six cans." Mago said, clicking on two different pizzas. One pepperoni and one cheese.

Hisoki hummed, nodding his head. "So, what about Harley? He joined you?" Mago felt disappointed in himself all over, for the second time. Harley did something to the pills that they found, Mago knew it. Hisoki takes teaching very seriously, but him running out isn't ok. Even though he didn't know what happened, it couldn't be good. Taking someone's pills could, well, kill them. "Mago? You ok?" Hisoki asks, glancing at him. He didn't notice the car start to drive again. "Are you, HIsoki? Why did you run out of the class earlier? You didn't even come back." Mago asked hesitantly. He didn't need Hisoki to get mad at him again.

He frowned, sighing. "I- no reason. I promise. I just can't focus, that's all." He mumbled.

Mago looked at him, and knew he was lying.
