Hisoki stood in front of the class, having his index finger between pages of a book as a short-term bookmark. He stared up at his class, a smile on his face. "Place your stuff down, we're going to do something fun today." He says happily, all the students look at him confused. "What are we going to do? This class is always kinda fun." Yoshi asked, dropping his bag to the side of their seat. "Something. Everyone, come on." He says, walking towards the door. Slowly, students placed their bags to the side of the desk, standing up and walking over to Hisoki.
He opened the door to the classroom, walking down the hall. Oh, this will be fun.

"What the hell are we doing?" Mago asked, tilting his head over to Harley, who shrugged. He was still seated, probably not even going to go with the rest of the class. Idiot. "How the hell am I supposed to know? He never told us." Harley looked up at Mago and laughed. Was there something wrong with him? Did he have something on his face? "What? Why are you laughing?" Mago asked, somewhat annoyed by the sudden laughter. Almost everyone was out of the classroom, well besides Wafi, who was leaning on the wall waiting for them.
"Nothing, nothing at all. I wanted to talk to you alone." Mago looked at him, rolling his eyes before sighing. "Well, we aren't alone, so you can wait. Wafi, let's go." Mago yelled towards the boy, walking to the door. He was not about to talk to Harley, at least not now. He doesn't have patience for the others' bullshit today. Wafi pushed himself off the wall, walking behind Mago. "What was that back there? What did he want?" The class wasn't too much ahead of Mago and Wafi, yet still, enough for them to talk in private. "I don't know, and I don't care." He could feel Wafi's eyes on the back of his head. He stops walking, letting the younger boy walk side by side with him. Once the two are shoulder to shoulder, Mago starts walking again. "He wanted something." Mago rolled his eyes, turning his head to look at Wafi with a bored expression. The other looks, blowing Mago a kiss.
"He said alone, you weren't there. Meaning, we weren't alone. Meaning-" Wafi cut him off with a yawn, dramatically stumbling over his foot as if he was about to fall asleep. Mago did hate high school students. "Sorry, sorry. Just got bored." Wafi apologizes, rubbing his eyes and shaking his head. Mago said quietly, crossing his arms. His eyes lead to Hisoki, the teacher taking the class towards the gym. He could only see the back of his head and a part of his shoulder, but that still made him think.
Why couldn't he just listen to Mago for once, it was so simple, so easy. Just answer a few questions, give a few opinions, that was all Mago needed. However, Hisoki couldn't- no he wouldn't, do that. He has always said no, ever since Mago was first his student. Mago huffs, frustrated, pulling out his phone. He didn't want to say that Hisoki was an experiment, but Mago was a researcher after all. Or, at least he was studying to be one.
"Maybe he likes you," Wafi says with a shrug, as Mago wrote on his phone. Observations he has made so far. He has been writing for two years, and he had hundreds of words for observations. He scoffed, clicking off his phone. How long has he been out of it, they were already walking into the gym. "Didn't he says that he had a girlfriend. Also, I don't like high schoolers."
"Ok, everyone. We're going to play a game, alright?" When did Hisoki get a basketball? "Harley, come up here." Hisoki gestures to the brunette boy, who stock up to him. If Mago wasn't confused already, he surely was now. The tan boy grabbed onto Wafi's hand, pulling his towards Kai, Baker, and Yoshi. "What?' Harley asked, crossing his arms. Hisoki smirked at him, quickly passing the ball to the boy, who instinctively caught it. Hmm, he was good. An ass, sure, but good.
"You play basketball, right?" Harley scoffs, dribbling the ball between his legs. "Yeah, captain of the team." He brags, holding the basketball and shrugging. Man, definitely an ass. Hisoki hums, and smiles. "Well, let's play a game. Talk to me in English, and then shoot a basket. If you do both, you don't have to do homework." Some kids shout others clap their hands, excited about the opportunity for no homework. Mago didn't have homework, Mago didn't even have this class. "Do you think that he'll make it?" Kai whispered, leaning over Yoshi's shoulder. Baker shrugs. "He's the captain, he kind of has to." Mago looks up at the two. Harley scoffs, an evil smile on his face. Hisoki seems calm and confident. He was always that way. "I know I will, but I wonder if you will win." Ok, well damn. Mago crosses his arms, glancing between the two. "Huh, very confident. Maybe even a little cocky, don't you think?" Screw student and teacher, they were both enemies at this point.
"Well then. If I'm so cocky, go ahead." Harley steps back, giving the English teacher room for a shot. They weren't far from the basket, however, it was farther than the three-point line. Harley passes the ball to Hisoki, crossing his eyes and smirking. Hisoki looks at him for a moment, before sighing and dribbling the ball while turning around. He aims his shot, seemingly calm and nervous. Mago knew Hisoki used to play basketball during college in Japan, however, Mago didn't think he actually- he made it." Hisoki tossed the ball into the air, creating a perfect arch into the orange-rimmed basket. The ball bounces the opposite way of him, towards Harley.
Mago looked at Harley. He seemed mad, definitely, but passive. He smirked, taking a step towards Hisoki, who had his head tilted to the side. "Friday, right after school." Mago looked confused. What the hell was happening. Hisoki raised an eyebrow, "Are you sure you want to lose?" Harley laughed, shaking his head. "Never have lost in my life, and don't plan on losing for the rest of it." "Fine, don't be late," Hisoki said, turning to the class. "Alright, who wants to go first?" He asked calmly. Harley stepped back into the small gather of students.
Mago sighed, rolling his eyes. "This is why this is my favorite class," Wafi says, nudging Mago's shoulders. Mago huffs, rolling his eyes.
