Johnny and Lily got to the VR game room and saw that the first room, the low level player room, was occupied with a lot of students.
"I hate this. It's all crowded." Johnny said with annoyance. "Perhaps we should leave for now."
The Low level VR game room is occupied with a lot of students because today is their first day in the heroic college and there are no works to do, no mission to embark on, not until they learn the ability of the pen giving to them. Also, having the privilege to play such an expensive VR capsule for free is worth the crowd. Although it was a VR game, it wasn't an online game. It is just a game that could be played among the Non superhero students.
And since it was free, the school only allowed every student to play in a single VR room, instead of teleporting each players into different rooms.
The reason why it was more crowded is because, each player have to wait till the player in the room ends their one round match, before they could think of entering the game room to fight.
This occurs only for a month, till each student finally learns the ability of the ability pen. Then they will go for quests and missions and the rewards and money they receive can be spent to play an online VR game.
"But where should we go next?" Lily asked looking around.
"I know somewhere we could go to, for now. It's almost time for lunch, why don't we go to the dining room." Johnny said and Lily agreed.
They went towards the dining room but when they got to a building that was void of people and cameras, they saw a boy holding up a student by the collar of his cloth and a sword was in his hands ready to stab at the student at any time.
"Xin??" Johnny said.
"Do you know him?" Lily asked.
"Yeah, he's my friend." Johnny answered.
Xin had tried to question the green haired boy, but despite all his effort, the boy refused to say a thing. The other two boys have been tied up, so they won't escape.
"Why are you bullying Jim?" Xin asked again, he had already formed out a knife, as he was angry at how the green haired boy had remained silent despite all his shouting and talkings.
"I will ask you for the very last time, why are you bullying him?" Xin asked as he placed the stomach near the boy's stomach. "Talk idiot!" Xin shouted.
"Don't stress yourself too much." A voice said from behind. Xin had recognized the voice at once, he knew it was Johnny's voice. And when he turned around, it was just as he had thought, it was Johnny and beside him was a lady.
"Are you trying to interrogate him?" Lily asked.
"Err, yeah." Xin explained what had happened between the three student and Jim. He also explained how Jim had refused to tell him what he did, to be bullied by the students.
"Well, Jim is okay and he doesn't need our help. Let's leave those guys alone." Johnny said as Xin ended his explanation.
But Lily went towards the green haired boy who also had been binded to a pole with the two other students.
"Lily, what are you doing?" Johnny asked feeling concerned.
Lily rubbed both palm of her hands together and suddenly, a bright fire appeared in her hands. She proceeded on placing her hands on the knee of one of the boys. The fire was setting his Jean ablaze and the victim was wriggling and humming in pain.
"What happened?" Johnny asked as he saw Lily standing up from where she was.
"They can't talk, they are dumb." Lily said and Xin now understood why they haven't been saying anything. When he drew his sword in an act of slaying him, the green haired boy didn't show any concern. It was as if he wished for death.
"I think they are forcing them to do bad things, taking advantages of their dumb state to hide their secret." Xin came into conclusion.
"Let's just leave them alone. They feel pitiful to me." Lily replied.
"Yeah, let's free these guys to do whatever they want to do. It's not our business though." Johnny said and Lily scoffed at his word. "Did I say something wrong?"
Xin and Lily freed the guys from the rope that were used to bind them. But, the green haired boy gave Lily a paper containing a written message.
After reading the contents of the paper, Lily saw the name of the writer.
"Is this the person that sent you? Evil shadow?" Lily asked, with a worried look on her face.
