Before me stood Baal, the Monarch of Demons.

I really wanted to smack him at least once but he was to smart too fight me directly. I had to admit that he had absolutely no need to fight me directly. All his had to do was wear me down with his crazy huge army and that is exactly what he did. But I am proud to admit that I had annihilated half his army by myself.
There was a reason why they call me humanities strongest.
The only SSS-Rank human in existence.
Though, my highest achievement was the fact that I was able to use a meagre part of the power they called the Law of the Gods.
It was due to this power that I was able to stand up to Baal and his army of demons.
I could only watch as Baal absorbed the world core. He grew stronger by annihilating worlds. He was close to becoming a bonafide God and I was merely a stepping stone for his rise to godhood.
He did not even spare me a glance as he stepped into the astral pathway leading to the Demon World and disappeared leaving yet another ruined world behind him
Blood seeped out through my wounds. I could feel my consciousness diminish. I looked around to see a man lying on the ground with a large hole in his chest. He was barely breathing. I could feel his lifeforce diminish slowly. The man, Lee Sung-In, was my sworn brother. A bond that existed from the time we were small kids. We had each other backs throughout all our struggles and even after we reached the pinnacle of our world.
Even though he was only a S-Ranker hunter, he charged head first against Amon, the 7th seated demon. The outcome was not surprising. He was ready to die when he charged at Amon. His aim was to give me some breathing space. He sacrificed himself to obtain a few minutes of respite.
The fool's sacrifice was meaningless yet his existence signified hope for humanity.
