Chapter 31 - Illusions and Hate.

(A/N : I got permission from Terror, so don't give me the Flewkey treatment.)

The Void of Nothingness,

No One POV,

Darkness, or was it light?

A Dark room, a room made of light, no, none of those words could be used here. The existence of this

place was unfathomable. Undescribable in human words, it was BEYOND on human comprehension. A

gaze at this space would surely turn one mad, or would it show them the truth?

That on the grand scale of things. To those that were beyond. To those that were truly always there.

Humans were naught but insignificant creatures? Calling them play things would be an overstatement!

For, most of those beyond did not even bother with humanity, did not even consider it worth attention.

Yet there was one among them that did, that thought them toys, that wanted these insignificant creatures

to suffer for his entertainment. Every moment of his life was spent trying to invade reality, make it his

kingdom. Make existence his toy. Thankfully, he was alone in that mindset, his siblings thought his

methods and ideology useless, trivial, unnecessary to beings of such great power.

Therefore he was stopped, after a war that had decimated existence countless times, he had been

stopped and forbidden from ever stepping foot in reality by his father.

Who was this you ask?

This was the creature that sought endless suffering, it was known by many names, the Servant of

Azathoth, the Messenger of the Outer Gods, the Absolute God, but perhaps, the most commonly known

name this entity had was the Crawling Chaos, Nyarlathotep. The Fourth Son of Azathoth, he fell behind

his siblings in terms of power but more than made up for it with his cunning.

Unfortunately he had been utterly humiliated by one of his siblings and made to stay here. The space

shook, Nyarlathotep felt immeasurable rage at the mere memory of what had transpired eons ago. The

darkness gave way to a tall slender man, his appearance was crooked and yet strangely alluring, his

face was one capable of charming any creature even though his skin was a literal bronze in color.

He wore a simple black suit, his eyes pitch black, dry lips and long hair that reached his neck. A crooked

smile formed across his face looking at the other entity amidst this endless incomprehensible realm. A

girl, it was a girl, a 'human' girl that was somehow still alive in this place, or rather Nyarlathotep was

keeping her alive.

"You'll be my way, little one." He said softly caressing her face, the girl's eyes however did not change,

they were dead, she had lost the will to live, that is until they regained light and her expression turnedinto a glare, "You still resist? What did you think was going to happen?!" he roared in anger, shaking the

space around them.

These presumptuous humans! Who did they think they were?! The void?! A soul enters the void and yet

leaves?! Preposterous!!! The void was where THEY lived, to think that one would escape after entering

this place was outrageous!! They would all suffer here for eternity!! See their illusions!! Be broken!! Be

THEIR vessels, THEIR way in!!

"Well..I give it a few more days." He mumbled to himself before disappearing, as if he had never been

there in the first place, humans are not even capable of resisting them. This girl wasn't resisting at all, it

would be easy if it was simple, she WAS raging, purely raging. One would expect someone to break

under such torment, but no, she blamed everything else for this predicament of hers rather than

accepting it as her own fault and giving up, she firmly believed it was the fault of others! More evidence

of these insignificant insects thinking themselves superior.

Who was this you wonder? This was a girl that had gone by many names in her life, Najimi Ajimu, Ophis,

Anastasia, she was what one might call a Faker. She was what happens to those who enter the void, the

home of the Outer Gods. She was someone that had first hand experience as to what awaited those who

were unfortunate enough to enter the void.

There was no ROB, there was no wish granting, no reincarnation, no system, no machine, there were

only those creatures. The Ultimate Gods, the Absolute Ones, the Absolute Apex of all creation, the Outer

Gods. All that entered were destined to suffer endlessly, with each of the Outer Gods having their own

preferred method of torture. If fun presented itself to you, wouldn't you have it?

That was the case with Sirius, she was currently gritting her teeth in pure rage. She had originally been

under the illusion that she had absorbed some of the void, giving her some amount of control over the

Nothingness of the void giving her nigh omnipotence. She had then used that power to impersonate

various people from her past life and had her way with that power.

Simply put, she, like most people with power, got drunk on it and abused it. Using it to have her way, she

sunk into a world of pleasure and having her way in life so much so that she did not pay attention to the

fact that it might have been an illusion all the time.

Alas, that is exactly what it had been all along.

An illusion and ploy by the Crawling Chaos, a way for him to break her and use her as a vessel to enter

existence. The void had been restricted after the war meaning the entry to it was also denied to most,

when Nyarlathotep finally found an individual capable of entering it, he had latched on to the opportunity

and taken her for himself. Putting her under an illusion that would break her and so, she could be used.

After her little game with the royal court, all had gone to hell. Her actions had by some leap of logic

instantly come to light and she had been prosecuted accordingly, for murder, fraud, manipulation, as well

as her attempt at mind controlling a royal. Of course, that involved torture as well as a gruesome death.

The first time around, she had accepted it as her own fault. Of course she did, any normal person would.

Except it didn't stop there, each single time she lived, it always ended with a gruesome death, all went to

shit when she was happy about how her life was going. She changed, she tried! She truly did!

But nothing worked, it always ended with persecution! She'd been enslaved, tortured, impaled,

beheaded, sold, raped, fed to animals, every method of killing a person gruesomely..she had

experienced it all firsthand..justly and unjustly.

After all that...was it so wrong?

Was it so wrong for her to HATE?

For her to LOATHE?!

Those vile creatures she called kin?!

That had REFUSED to listen to her?!

That had put her through hell?!

It was NOT, Opinions do not matter!

Sirius hated, hated, hated her kin!

Then there was this man that kept visiting her again and again and again expecting her to become some

kind of empty shell. That wasn't happening! She was going make the humans suffer for what they did,

she was never losing hope, not until she made them ALL suffer!

After who knows how much time had passed, Sirius finally calmed down, her anger replaced by soft

sobbing. What had she done to deserve this? Even in her past life, she hadn't done anything that

warranted this 'hell' she was being put through. Granted she had not particularly cared about others but

that still wasn't enough to deserve this.

"My oh my oh my." a cheerful voice resounded in her ears making her head shoot up towards the source,

this one was different from what she was used to. Unlike that other person's raspy unsettling voice, this

one seemed to hold genuine cheer, something she hadn't heard in who knows how long now.

Looking up she came face to face with an uncomfortably close white haired man, he was attractive,

attractive enough to put most people she had seen throughout her, by now countless lives, to shame. He seemed to be wearing a simple black shirt with black jeans, a genuine smile on his face. His sharp teeth

were slightly offsetting but not by much, rather it added to his attractiveness.

She glared at him, he was no human. She could feel it, maybe it was another ploy by that 'man' who

sought to break and use her. "Don't you speak?" He asked poking her cheek, "Ne..Ne...speak?" he said

poking it several more times with a close eyed smile. Getting tired of the annoying man's relentless

poking she let out a low grunt and pulled on the chains binding her hands.

"See? Not that hard." he said, his smile widening as his cheeks started slitting giving way to even more

sharp teeth hidden behind but he was quick to control that action and it soon returned to just a normal

smile you would see on anyone. He rubbed his chin in thought before placing his hand on his chest and

slightly bowing, "I go by a number of names, The Truthful One, The Infinite One, Absolute God,

Destroyer God, Infinite Chaos, my real name is, Verum Infinitum...but you can just call me Asahi." he

said finishing with a slight cough, he was going to have some fun here. Fuck Nyarlathotep, the dude was

a cunt.

Sirius' eyes widened in slight surprise....that was a Japanese name? Why did this man have it? Well as

for Asahi still using his old name? Well unlike his siblings, he actually spent time among humans so the

name kind of grew on him. "Nyar Nyar, what is that brother of mine doing?" he said shaking his head

helplessly, that prick should know that Asahi would drag him back himself if he ever went outside the

void.

Seeing the girl not respond, he just sat down in front of her floating around looking at her in curiosity,

white hair isn't something you see often. Nyar probably wanted to break and use the girl or something.

Like that an unknown amount of time passed, Asahi just shooting random questions at her and her

simply staring at him silently....what Sirius didn't know was that an Outer God was raging because he

couldn't access this place anymore.

"Ne What's your name?"

"Got any family?"

"Kids?...Oooh a lover?"

"Are you straight or whatever the fuck that other thing is?"

"Ne...Do you like war?"

"What are your thoughts on humans? Personally they're really entertaining!"

"Doesn' it get boring not talking after a while?"

"Ne...talk."

"Ne! Ne! Ne! Ne!"

"W..hy?" she asked weakly, why would he just talk to her and behave like this? "Dunno..just cause you

remind me of someone." he replied nonchalantly floating around with his arms folded, after the war

ended, they were all banned from having relationships with things that were not Outer Gods by their

Father so he lost all his lovers as well...it sort of got lonely after that and no amount of raging or asking

got Azathoth to change his mind.

No he wasn't about to fall for some random human girl that would be too weird and cliche. With that

Sirius went silent once more making the Outer God sigh, "Such a boor~." he muttered out floating around

as if in thought, "Oh I know." he nodded as if he had just had the best idea to ever cross his mind.

She gave him a sense of familiarity, and placing her under his protection would piss off Nyar too...two

birds with one stone! He snapped his fingers once making the chains on Sirius disintegrate into

nothingness and held her up with one hand. He tapped her forehead making the girl jolt before throwing

her through a rift that had opened out of nowhere.

He cracked his neck and stretched his arms before grinning, this time his cheeks completely slitting, he

was going to make sure none of his kin went after her. He removed the lock he had placed on this

specific part of the void and as soon as he did, a roar shook the entire area making him laugh madly, as

if a thousand voices were talking in tandem.

Not a few minutes later, in a smoking barren wasteland a white haired man could be seen holding down

a humanoid with numerous tentacles sticking out of it, with one of his feet. He had a cigarette in his

mouth and had his hands in his pockets. "Why did you release my vessel?!" the humanoid figure roared

angrily.

"Oi, don't forget your place in the hierarchy you weird rapist tentacle fuck." Asahi replied blowing smoke

all over Nyarlathotep's face, he didn't appreciate being looked down on.
