Alicia was even more worried when she found out that Belle was having a hard time suppressing her desire, even though she wasn't a new vampire.
If it was a disease that could attack any vampire, she was afraid that she would experience the same thing as Belle let alone she would enter that period for the first time.
She was afraid that if she got the same disease as Belle, then she would turn into a blood-loving monster and would attack anyone near her. And she did not want that to happen and had to immediately find a way to prevent it.
Even if she found a way to prevent the disease from attacking her, she wouldn't change the fact that she had to keep drinking blood in order to get through the Bloodthirsty period and survive.
Even though the thing she disliked the most wouldn't change, at least she would drink as little blood as possible. She would drink blood only as a formality so she could pass the Bloodthirsty period.
