Vincent couldn't believe his eyes. He was just walking down the city with Soraya, fighting monsters for their dinner, when extreme lightning struck the area in front of them. A globe of white light followed and blinded the two and once it faded away, a blonde man was sitting there.
Vincent knew this guy too well and without any hesitation approached him.
He called out to the man, that was lost in thoughts.
"Well look who it is...if it isn't Gilbert" he said in a slightly sarcastic and cheery tone.
Gilbert turned around to face the person who was calling out to him. He didn't recognize him, so how did he know his name? Behind the man completely dressed in black ,he could spot a girl, who was staring at him anxiously. He didn't recognize the girl either but before he could ask them who they were, the black dressed man addressed him again.
"Been a pain to look for you. Where is the bitch you travel with? And the boy, where is he? Don't tell me she killed him already."
Vincent stared down at Gilberts blood stained clothes and frowned. He was already imagining the worst scenarios, when Gilbert Interrupted him with his reply.
"Are you the asshole, who stabbed her?"
Both Gilberts voice and expression turned ice cold and he stared at the man, as he slowly rose up from his spot to be eye to eye with him.
-How annoying, so she told him about it. That only complicated the matter.
"I've got my reasons to" Vincent gave as a reply.
Gilbert wasn't satisfied at all with this though, he wanted to beat sense into this guy, make him feel the pain Reverie had been through, yet he decided not to.
He balled his fists and dug his nails deep into the skin, till it bled.
"No matter the reason, it does not justify killing someone!" Gilbert shouted angrily at Vincent.
Vincent was completely taken aback but instantly recovered to yell back.
"Oh really?! What do you even know? You haven't had to watch all of your companions die, so shut the hell up!"
Gilbert wanted to answer but he thought there was no reasoning with this guy, so he left it be.
The two men just stared at each other in silence and Soraya ,who was watching all of this, felt as if she was choking on the tension in the air.
She decided to step in and lighten the mood somewhat.
"Well...no matter what kind of differences you guys have, now isn't the right time to fight ,you know? We should set up a camp before it gets dark..." the girl said in an insecure voice.
Gil and Vince looked at her for a moment untill they stared back at each other and each gave a single nod in agreement.
The three made their way to the nearby subway station, to set up camp.

Michael was happily chatting with Mr bunny over the mirror, when Ren came back.
He had set up their camp in the meantime and now cowered in the corner with two blankets covering him fully.
Ren kneeled in front of the small tower of wooden sticks and hit the fire stones she found against each other. After a couple of minutes of constant hitting and rubbing, they gave off sparks that flew all around them.
A few sparks caught some of the paper that was stuck between the wood and caught fire.
The fire spread at rapid speed and soon the entire wood caught fire as well.
Reverie sat back next to Mik and petted his head.
"You are really strong, you know that?" she said to the boy, who was just staring back at her in response.
"I had alot of fun since we met you! It's never boring" the boy then retorted.
It was a reply Reverie would never have thought to hear, so she was really surprised by his words.
She chuckled and hugged the boy.
"I'm happy to have met you two as well" she said and stared into the fires flames.
Michael gradually warmed up and stopped shivering. He gave Reverie one of the blankets and they both snuggled up to each other. They were tired and exhausted but also hungry.
Reverie took the pocket mirror into her hands and called out to Mr bunny. She hoped he could give them something to eat. It was not in vain as a couple of moments later, two cups of instant ramen and a couple of bottles of water came out of the mirror.
Ren placed the noodle cups over the fire and filled them with water. She saw Michael drooling in the corner of her eye and couldn't help but laugh. After ten minutes their noodles were finished and the two started eating delightfully. Slurping sounds could be heard from the cave and occasionally the raging winds from the blizzard outside.
The two finished their meal and chatted idly some more, till they fell asleep.

"What are you thinking about so hard, that your forehead is in folds, young master?" A cheery voice called out from above.
The man in question was standing on the top of the remnants of an old building and looked down on the man with the crimson eyes.
The latter just stared at him silently, still deep in thoughts.
"Don't worry, we will find your sister. It's not like she's gonna be eaten by a monster or anything" the cheery voice spoke sarcastically.
The man had long silver hair and was wearing an intricate baroque styled outfit, which was modernized somewhat. A ribbon decorated his collar around the purple shirt he wore. A coat with many leather belts in all kinds of places was loosely hanging from his arms. His slender long legs were covered with a pair of black pants and high white boots rounded off the entire outfit. He was holding a walking stick in his hand, regardless of his youth. His golden eye that looked down at the other man, narrowed a bit. This man was quite the excentric yet the other man didn't mind it at all.
After a couple minutes of silence the other man finally spoke. He had a soft and enchanting voice, it was relaxing to listen thought the cheery man but he would never admit that.
"We need to go west" is all he said and more wasn't needed as the silver haired man understood immediately.
"West huh? Alright. Let's go save a princess" he said while smiling brightly all over his face and jumping down from the building.
