Mike quickly caught the rifle and fell to his knees as he was knocked off balance from the weight of the rifle. Mike quickly got up and entered the opened door he was met with a large 500 Square meter room. She reached out and took the sniper rifle and his pistol and walked to the left and faced the wall which soon opened up revealing more areas of the dorm. Amber arrived three minutes later and deactivated the status chamber that covered the food.
"From the vital readings I've received you are hungry please enjoy your meal." amber said before she disappeared just like Odin.
Mike was quite creeped out by it as who wouldn't be one second they're there the next they're not. Mike sighed and took a seat and looked at the food. From what he could tell it was well food but it wasn't synthetic or those 'food' bars they sold in the slums.
He took a fork and knife and started to cut into the first dish he didn't know what animal it was but he had seen it on those tv ads before. It was called steak but he never knew an animal with that name.
Taking a bite of the steak he was assaulted with an ocean of flavor he had never tasted before. The tender juicy meat was truly like heaven he had only even eaten 'food' bars which were dry and tasted like cardboard. When he got lucky and made enough money he bought a synth meat slab it tasted like plastic and oil a waste of ten credits.
Mike easily devoured the food in front of him like a starved person. After half an hour he leaned back on the chair and burped he felt tired and full. Amber appeared again and carried the tired mike to his room and he fell asleep in seconds.
His new life was already much better in his opinion.
