"From the moment I opened my eyes, I knew exactly what my purpose in this life was. It was to make her happy.
She was a little Princess, pure and true, and it was my job to save her... Witches, trolls, goblins, it mattered not what manner of monster I faced, it was my duty to save the Princess, and I always prevailed.
As my little Princess got older, our adventures kept getting wilder, and our numbers grew exponentially. We acquired Soldiers, Bakers, Merchants, Jesters, Blacksmiths, Horses, we acquired an entire kingdom! All revolving around our precious Princess.
But one day, she disappeared. Our precious Princess, was gone... Many offered to go and search for her, but I declined them all. If anyone was going to find the Princess, if anyone was going to save her, then it would be her Prince Charming!
I grabbed the fastest horse, outfitted myself with the best armour, got the blessings of our most powerful Mages, and then I rode off into the night. The journey was long and arduous, but I did not relent! I travelled through the toughest of terrains, faced monsters, the likes it which I had never seen before, and I overcame many mental battles.
But, even after all that effort, after all that time I spent searching, I never found the Princess... Defeated, I decided to return home, but that's when I realised that, I couldn't find my way back. I was so focused on finding the Princess that, I never even considered what I'd do when I found her.
The goal of my journey had shifted, now I was trying to return home, to tell them about my journey, to tell them how I had failed to find the Princess. But now I was failing to even do that, to even find my way back home.
After months or years of being lost, I finally took the time to actually listen to my steed, Noble. Noble was no ordinary horse, if anything, I believe that he is a man trapped in a horse's body.
Following Noble's lead, I was slowly but surely making my way back home, and that made me happy. At first I obviously couldn't understand Noble's speech, but with time I learned to be able to understand it. What's strange is that after this, I learned to speak all forms of beast language, especially those that were trying to kill me.
After a longer and more arduous journey, I finally made it back home. But, home wasn't how I left it. Everyone was gone, our Castles were in ruins, and all that remained, was me.
I believe that there must have been an attack, by some kind of monster, but it doesn't really matter. I was not there to protect them, I failed to protect them. And when my Princess eventually returns, I know that she will no doubt be disappointed, in her sorry excuse of a Prince Charming."
Toby Robinson: Charming! Charming wake up! Snap out of it! You're not dead, so stop scaring us already! (Toby says as he slaps Charming's face back and forth, doing so over and over again)
Charming quickly grabs Toby's hand, stopping the next slap from landing.
Prince Charming: Could you stop doing that please, I'm already awake. (Charming tells him)
Toby Robinson: You're alive! I'm so happy you're okay buddy! (Toby says as he helps Charming to his feet)
Prince Charming: What happened? (Charming asks, his memory a little fuzzy)
Toby Robinson: You blacked out, went full unconscious! We even thought you were dead, but turns out you were just sleeping. (Toby explains, with Browny and Noble now standing behind him)
Prince Charming: Why did you wake me up then? (Charming asks, still not a hundred percent yet)
Toby Robinson: I wanted to show you something important. Come with me, you're gonna love this. (Toby says as he excitedly leads Charming forward)
Prince Charming: Where are we going? I don't have the strength for a walk right now, My Lord. (Charming tells him, struggling to keep up with Toby's pace)
Noble: Find the strength, Charming. This really is important. (Noble tells him, his tone serious)
Prince Charming: Okay then... Lead the way, My Lord. (Charming tells Toby, now a little excited, what were they trying to show him he wondered)
They all finally reach their destination, which was the Royal Castle, now standing tall, fully restored back to it's former glory. The large castle stood like a fortress, and Charming couldn't contain his shocked expression at the marvelous sight.
Prince Charming: How?! (Charming asks, still awestruck by the sight of the castle)
Toby Robinson: After I had failed to repair they Royal Castle. My, magic, kept reminding me that I could still rebuild it. Now at first I didn't want to do it because it would have cost me a lot of Dream Points. I mean, magic points! But honestly, Charming. After all that you've done for me, I decided that you at least deserve this as a reward. (Toby explains to him)... So, what do you think? (Toby asks with a smile, expecting Charming's answer)
Prince Charming: I think... (Charming says before pausing for a moment, and then he finishes by saying)... It's beautiful. (Charming said with tears of pure joy, now filling his eyes)
