Alora could only cover her mouth in shock as she looked at the ring and the necklace. Their mother, Reese dragged herself up and wrapped the both of them in a white cloth. She gathered all the strength she could and started moving as fast as she could so those after her won't reach her.
As Reese left that place and ran for a while, she broke down. Luckily, an old woman was walking along the place she fell and the old woman looked down at her.
"What are you doing here young woman?" The old woman asked her and she looked up at her with blury vision.
"Please….help me…. They….are after….my children's life…." Was all Reese could say before she passed out. The old woman looked down at the two babies in Reese's arms and looked around. She saw torches approaching them and immediately, she started chanting some spells.
"She was the one who saved mother than night by creating an illusion so the men after mother wouldn't find her."
