His eyes blazed with intensity as they fixed on her, but she didnot meet his gaze, instead looked away. It was a bitter pill to swallow as if a thousand jagged knives had plunged into his heart at once. He planned to reveal the truth of his birthmark once he had concrete evidence that Astraea had forged it on her hand.
