Emma seeing me coming towards them called out in a surprised tone,
"Big Brother, come here!"
Nodding my head and ignoring the attention she got from calling me out as Emma herself is quite famous in the Hunter Department as she is one of the top 3 students there along with her having that skill as her first making her quite popular in the whole university.
Amelia also looked at me attentively for a while as she noticed how much attention we are getting from our surroundings and Emma being clueless of that, the only fault I could spot...she is always clueless of her surroundings and focuses on what she wants to do.
I made my way towards them and upon reaching their table, I sat beside Emma and she asked me first,
"Big Brother, what are you doing here?"
So, what I have done before hadn't traveled here...or Emma hadn't looked for the news or anything.
"I was bored in the lecture and now I am planning on going to the dungeon."
Emma's eyes, along with Amelia started shining at the mention of the dungeon, looks like they want to know about that too...but I am not planning to go to a high-level dungeon for now, as I still need to try my new skills and gain more control over my strength.
Emma should have felt worried in her heart knowing that I am planning on visiting that dangerous place but she knows that it is important, so she also develop an interest in that...this is the reason why she joined the hunter department.
Emma looks at me and asks after thinking about a minute,
"What dungeon are you planning on visiting, Big Brother?"
Amelia's ears also perked up for my response.
"I am planning on visiting a D-Rank dungeon to have a clear understanding of my skills and check my power."
They both nodded and I then asked what is on my mind,
"Shouldn't you be in your lecture?"
"No, the trainer had some work to do so we were given this lecture-free."
Nodding my head and after talking about some random things and drinking my coffee, I made my way out of the university and took a taxi. I told the driver to take me to the D-Rank dungeon which is on the outskirts of the west side of the city. That dungeon is famous for newbie monsters so I will be able to practice easily and not many hunters visit that dungeon, so I will be able to do my things without the worry for the surveillance.
In around 30 minutes we reached the place and paid the money to the driver I entered the area where the dungeon is secured in. The area was brimming with the hunters but it was less than the A-Rank one. Showing my ID to the guard who looked at me with surprise on his face but I ignored that and took my ID and enter the area and made my way directly at the Dungeon gate, the portal shining in purple and blue.
I heard the hunters murmuring about many things as I was wearing a simple Hunter dress, my regular one which I was even allowed to wear in the University, and that I wasn't carrying any weapon but I ignored all that entered the portal before any hunter came forward for a party invitation.
Upon entering, my view changed, and I appeared in grassland where some trees are situated all around. This is not the first time I appeared in this dungeon, [Goblin's Den], a newbie hunter's dungeon...well that's only for the starting part as the deeper we go in, the more dangerous the monsters become. It got this name because of the starting floors being that of the goblin's area making it a place for the new hunters to hunt them and practice their skills.
Looking around, I spotted some people, so I started to walk towards the place where there should be no people and after walking for a while, I spotted my first target, A goblin, which came out of the bush.
Seeing that single goblin, I made an [Fireball] in my hand and throw it directly at the goblin's face before giving it any time to react. And the goblin started to scream...looks like it's calling for help...and died down. I made a ball of water, for the first time I used another skill other than [Fireball] and it felt good.
I throw the [WaterBall] that I made and the fire around the burnt goblin died down, and I stayed there for some time. Spotting three goblins coming my way due to the cry of their friend. I smirked seeing them and extended my hand, and a bullet of fire appeared in my hand which is rotating anticlockwise direction. Throwing the bullet in the direction of one of the goblin's faces, which easily went through it and the goblin's body fall on the ground backward with a little force. The other two goblins stopped and looked at the body of the dead goblin and again charged in my direction. This time, I made a bullet of water in my left hand and a bullet of wind in my right hand and throw it in the goblin's direction.
My aim is already better as I always used to practice it to use my single skill efficiently.
The [Water Bullet] went through a goblin's head killing it completely, while my other bullet missed it a little and pierced the goblin's shoulder making the goblin cry in pain, and I saw that and quickly a [Fireball] appeared in my hand which I throw at the goblin's face, burning it.
After waiting for 5 minutes and seeing that no other goblin coming, I walked up to the dead bodies and took a knife from my waist pocket, and made a cut at the center of the chest of the goblin taking out a fingernail size crystal which I put in my pocket and did the same with other body, and the last one was already burnt completely, so I simply took away the crystal from the dust. I already took one from the first one which I killed...
After doing that, I sat on the ground, calming my rushing blood and at the same time waiting for the [MP] to restore as my stats are still sealed.
The [Magic Core], something found in the bodies of the maximum every monster and sold at the price according to their size. The [Magic Core] have many uses from enchanting and weapon or an item or to be used in alchemy to increase the potency of the potion, and it is also used in many other places like the treasures found in the dungeons sometimes needs some [Magic Cores] for them to function.
Taking a small [Magic Core] out of my pocket and looked at it attentively for a while...but I can't sense any energy from it...
'Hey Eve?'

Eve become silent hearing my question, and not getting any reply for a minute, I was about to ask again but before I could, I got the answer.
