"Or will you die losing the war" Moises included. Jun stood there in silence looking at the ground.
"I'll... think about it" Jun answered as he walked away from Moises "No way... he's serious," Jun said in his head as he walked away with Xuanyu.
ELECTION STAGE
"Yoo!! Jun!!" Mark greeted them as they shook hands. "We're gonna light up fireworks soon for the new candidates!!" Mikey runs past Jun and Mark.
Everyone sat on the chairs below the election stage. "Wow... four months of this, I can't believe we managed to survive for this long," Edison says to Evelyn.
"Wait, it's been four months since this country started?" Evelyn asked. "Yeah, I can't believe it too, four months and we had to set up a new location... because of the Doom Brigade," Chloe says.
"Doom Brigade? What is that?" Evelyn drank her Sodizu. "It's sort of like a clan. An organization. Group. They destroyed our country, tearing apart the towns we had and killing the Izuzunians" Edison explained.
While Mark was talking to Jun, Jun managed to hear Edison talking about the war. He remembers Collin sacrificing himself to save Jun's life, Tidus's body, Melanie's death, Coen's death, Roselyn and Kayla's death... Eungi and Kyle's death.
"Yo Jun, have you been listening?" Mark asked. "Sorry, was just thinking about what happened back then," Jun said.
"Yo! Quin!" A boy runs up to Mark, about the same age "Hey Mark!... Oh.. hey Jun!"
"This is my friend! His name is Quin and he escaped with us to your country!" Mark explained. "Thanks for letting us stay here, President!" Quin thanks Jun and his kindness.
Jun smiles at them all. "I'm not president... well, let's get the" The fireworks launched as everyone watched in amazed.
"Woah!" Everyone screamed out surprised at how beautiful the fireworks were. "If Melanie was here, she'd be very amazed" Jun smiled as tears began falling. Edison heard Jun "Yeah"
Everyone watched as all the fireworks launched up to the air creating a huge light in the sky.
"Beautiful," Quin says as he looks toward Mark. He sees Mark smiling. Quin smiles even more because he's never seen Mark smile. Quin turned back to look at the fireworks in the sky "So beautiful"
RISE OF IZUZUNU
VOLUME 3, CHAPTER 23, FEIBURG
MOISES'S HOUSE
Moises looks out the window staring at the fireworks lighting up the night sky. "It's so pretty," Emily said as she sat down. "Yeah," Yusuke agreed.
"Later today... we'll hear Jun's answer" Moises added. He wasn't amazed about the fireworks. He was still angry; waiting for Jun to finally answer if he'll join or not.
IZUZUNU, MORICHI, THE NEXT DAY
"Election votes!" Chloe places down papers on a table outside of the court house "If you wish to vote for a certain candidate, then come here and sign these papers and vote!!" Chloe shouted.
Everyone came running to the tables to sign up. "I want to vote for Xuanyu!" "I want to vote for George!" "Give George a chance to win!" "No! Xuanyu deserves it!" Everyone shouted and disagreed.
"This is crazy," Chloe says.
At the west of Izuzunu, Chloe is setting off votes "Here it says that Xuanyu wants to protect the land of Izuzunu. And George says... he wants to run as president to kill Moises?" Chloe read a paper that both the candidates wrote.
"You know" Evelyn spoke out "I remember my children... my sons"
Chloe looked at her and listened "For some reason I can't recall their faces, but... George and Mikey kind of remind me of my sons"
"I see... it's fine... after all, we all sometimes remember things, but it doesn't really come to us" Chloe says.
"Yeah," Evelyn added.
"I remember... hanging out with my best friends" Chloe spoke out.
"Wow... how were they like?" Evelyn asked. "You" Chloe spoke. Evelyn smiles as Chloe pats her on the shoulders.
Later at the election stage, a man and 2 ladies appeared out of nowhere in front of Jun at the election stage wearing some kind of dark outfit "What the-!?" Jun questioned.
"We need you... to come to Feiburg Kingdom and talk with the King, Emperor Jun" He stared at Jun.
"Feiburg... Kingdom...? The kingdom where Coen is from?... Wow-" Jun asked.
"Come! Now! Bring anyone you want, but hurry!" The woman made Jun rush as Jun ran back home to get ready.
Jun puts on his metal armor and heads outside. "I want to bring someone," Jun says to the squad wearing the dark outfits.
Jun knocks on the doors to Xuanyu's house. He opened the doors and greeted Xuanyu "Yo! Do you want to come with us to Feiburg Kingdom? We're gonna meet the king" Jun smiled.
"Sure, just wait" Xuanyu agreed to go as he grabbed all his belongings. "Okay.. let's go" The dark ninjas start sprinting.
"Wait!! We need one more person!" Jun shouted. "Hurry," The other woman says.
Jun makes it to Mark's house "Sure, I'll go. I'm all ready too" Mark agreed to go too as he walked out of his house and closed the doors.
Jun grabbed Mark's hands and began running. "Okay... let's go" The dark ninjas then blew some kind of whistle and it was really loud.
"What the hell was that!?" Jun shouted. Three horses appear out of nowhere as the three ninjas hop on. "Get on," The man says as everyone gets on one of the horses.
They smack the horse with the ropes as the horse starts sprinting through the sunset. "I guess we're heading east," Jun says.
FEIBURG KINGDOM, NIGHT
"Wake up!" The girl smacks Jun in the face to get him off the horse "Ah!" Jun falls off landing on his back.
"What the hell!?" Jun wakes up not in the mood. "We're in the front of the king's domain," The woman says as Jun looks around.
"Woah" Jun said as he looked around. The town looked big... bigger than Hwalshindo. Almost all the houses were made of bricks, stone, and other materials. The roads were stone too. The lanterns lit up the dark streets.
"This is.. amazing" Jun stood up and looked at his surroundings. "Okay, that's enough. Let's go to the king now" The two girls push Jun towards the stairs.
"Dang, took you long enough" Mark and Xuanyu stood up leaning against the walls on the porch with their arms crossed.
"My bad" Jun scratches his head. "I'm starting to think you got laid" Xuanyu smiled weirdly. "Ew," Jun says.
The doors suddenly open and the inside view slowly reveals itself "Woah" they all said as they entered the building. "I've never seen anything like this "Xuanyu was amazed.
The king's throne stood in front of them as they walked closer and closer. "Hey, king! How are you-" Jun tries to greet the king but quickly gets his head shoved by the girls "Don't disrespect the king!"
Everyone bowed as Jun fell to the ground in a bowing position "Gah! Sorry!"
"King Almanfro, they're here," The man said as he began to bow. "Good job" King Almanfro says as he begins to stand up "You can stop bowing"
Everyone gets up and looks at the king. Red and white robe, a crown, leather boots, a golden necklace, and diamond rings. He's very wealthy.
"So.. you needed us for something?" Mark asks. "Yes, I heard about the war in Izuzunu... and Coen... I want to apologize about it" King Almanfro apologizes for not sending in more troops to protect our country.
"And my niece... she died too... didn't she?..." The king looked sad.
"I'm sorry, King Almanfro... I couldn't protect her when we were fighting the kaimog" Jun apologizes too.
"It's okay... everyone goes through tough times-" He says as he stops "Kaimog?"
"Yes... we've killed the dragon so it won't be able to take any more lives!" Jun said. The room was silent for a bit until "You all are heroic" Almanfro says.
"Nope.. it was all Jun" Xuanyu says "Yeah we weren't there when he went to go kill the dragon" Mark added.
Almanfro smiled "You're very brave," Almanfro says. Jun smiles.
"Well, I wanted to befriend you and your country" The king slowly walks up to Jun and the rest "I want to become your ally" He pulls his hands out at Jun. For a moment, Jun's emotions rushed into excitement as he tried not to show it. He smiled very wide "Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god!!"
Jun was excited to make his first ally in this world and finally have help to protect more citizens of Izuzunu.
Jun shakes his hands and smiles "Of course! We can be allies!" He shouted. The king smiled and pointed at his door "It's been a long day... we should all rest, huh? I'll give you a free night in a hotel to stay here and free food!" King Almanfro laughs and heads back to sit on his throne.
"Thank you so much! King Almanfro!" Jun bowed his head. "But," King Almanfro says "Let's do something about your weapons"
THE SPELLBINDING ROOM
Only Jun and the king entered the stairway down to the spellbinding room. Lanterns were in the hallways, but it wasn't lit. Jun and the king held their own lanterns, shining them through the pathways.
They finally make it to the room as King Almanfro opens it. "Jun, which spellbind do you want?" King Almanfro asked. Jun thought for a moment. He wants the strongest spellbind, but he feels off asking the king for it. So all Jun said was "Surprise me"
The king smiles "Of course, Jun"
LATER
The king says bye to Jun as he waves bye to him. "Okay! Sure thing King!" Jun smiled as he began to leave the king's domain. The king finished spellbinding the sword as Jun carried it wrapped in a case.
"I can't believe it," Jun said "We've made our first allies in this world"
At the hotel, the rest stayed on a comfortable bed and slept, but Jun was awake. He looks at the map of Kepkury "So that's where Izuzunu is... wait... is that Hwalshindo Izuzunu or Morichi Izuzunu?" He questioned.
Jun puts the map away and lays on his bed "Well, it's time to sleep... I'm sure it's just Morichi"
NEXT DAY
The next day after having a long simple conversation with King Almanfro, Jun and his friends leave the Kingdom on a horse with a carriage with good loot and supplies for Izuzunu.
They began leaving the Kingdom and heading back to Izuzunu. As Jun was smiling, he remembered something that Moises said to him the other day.
The other day "So, Jun... you know the plan?" Moises asked. "What plan?" Jun replied. "The plan... to kill everyone" Moises smiled.
"Will you join our side..... Or will you die losing the war"
After that thought, Jun's smile became a serious face as he turned his head back to see the Feiburg Kingdom. Slowly leaving the borders.
"Damn it!" Jun smacked the walls of the carriage. "What is it, Jun!?" Xuanyu was worried. "We didn't tell King Almanfro about Moises," Jun says. Xuanyu and Mark look at each other.
MOISES'S HOUSE, NIGHT
"I got it" Moises got up from his chair and looked at the map he made. "This is how we'll burn down Izuzunu" Moises smiled as he pointed to random spots on the map of the town.
"Me and Jun will take care of the center of Izuzunu if he does join us, Emily will take care of the east, Yusuke, you will be in the south, and Chloe will be running around exploding houses" Moises made the plan and sat back down.
They looked at the map on the table and agreed. "You guys are good fighters so I guess you all should be fine on your own" Moises included as he took a sip of water.
"Yes, we got this" Emily says as she stares at her hands. "I guess we'll have to wait for Jun" Moises says.
Moises is Jun's best friend. They've been hanging out together ever since they met. "Let's go" Moises walks out of the room and opens the door.
Jun stood behind the door right as he was about to knock "Oh... hey Moises" Jun said.
"Have you decided?" Moises asked. It was quiet. The wind blows through the leaves and Jun's hair. Moises's heart began beating, hoping Jun's really gonna join him.
What came out of Jun's mouth was unimaginable.
"Yes... I'll join you... into ending Izuzunu" Jun stared at them with a serious face.
Moises was shocked and began to smile as he shouted and jumped "We got this now, with you! Me! Emily! And Yusuke! We'll wipe out all of Izuzunu!!"
Moises smiles widely. Emily is shocked to see that Jun accepted destroying his own country. Yusuke is just smiling at the corner. Jun looks at Moises, not changing his expression at all.
