Jun yawns "Finally! A new day!" He said as he opened the door and walked out of the house.
He drank his water and looked at the cold lake. It was a windy cloudy day. It's the middle of fall after all. The wind blew the red leaves off the trees as they fell onto the ground.
"Well... today's the day we try to explore... and maybe.. find Hwalshindo again," Jun said to himself (Hwalshindo is what he named the old Izuzunu town).
"Good morning," Chloe said to Jun.
"Hi," He replied.
"Where do you think you're gonna build your house?" She asked.
"Hm..." Jun thought "Over there" He pointed to the mountain in front of them across the lake.
"Oh, I was thinking of building my house there too, but you can take it" She smiled.
"Haha," Jun laughed.
Chloe looks at the beautiful lake "But.. last night.. Evelyn was acting a bit weird. I sort of stayed up with her and she said that she knows you"
"What?" Jun asked in confusion.
"I know. It's confusing... But she said that she saw you in her dream. You were on the floor... in the sand..."
"Sand... huh..." Jun said, thinking maybe he knew Evelyn from his past life.
RISE OF IZUZUNU
VOLUME 3, CHAPTER 20, NEW LANDS
NEW LANDS
"Wow.. this place looks so beautiful" Evelyn was amazed "I didn't get to see this view at night"
"This place would be good to build new homes and roads here," Jun said.
"Well, Chloe... where do we start?" Edison asked.
"Split up, I will gather materials with Evelyn and Mikey. George and Irene will be building roads and their own houses and we will give them materials. Edison, Nugget, and Jun... explore, and try to find new people... if Irene and Evelyn woke up the same day, others should be waking up soon too.. somewhere" She said.
"Alright!" They all shouted except Evelyn.
Evelyn was just looking at Jun. Jun notices her and is a bit uncomfortable, so he says "Let's go"
Everyone ran from the circle to go to their groups and do their own things.
"Mikey, Evelyn, help chop down some wood" Chloe commanded.
They grab out their axes and chop the trees down. Jun, Nugget, and Edison run through the forests and slices every bush poking out with their wooden sword.
"You think we'll find another human?" Edison asks.
"Yes" Jun replied "It's like someone is putting more humans on this planet... or... the Novishians"
"Jun" Nugget spoke out "I want to apologize again for killing Coen and them," he said while running.
"I forgive you... now.. can you stop mentioning the death of my friends" Jun said as he looked forward to running.
Nugget kept running with them "Sure"
As they were running, they found a swamp, and soon they stopped.
"What the?" Jun said as they all slowly walked "What.. region is this?"
"It's a swamp" Nugget answered as everyone explored.
"Guys! I see a house!" Edison shouted and pointed at the house.
It was a tiny shack, almost the same size as a queen-sized bed.
"Do you think anyone lives here?" Edison asked.
"Maybe" Jun grabs the door knob.
Then a boy appears out of nowhere behind them.
He smacks Jun in the head "Get out of my house!!" He shouted as Jun falls to the ground.
"Hah!" He screamed out as he held his sword in his hands pointing to Jun.
"What the!?" Nugget shouted.
"Wait a minute" He looked at Nugget.
"Nisse!!? My man!!" He shouted as he hugged Nugget.
Nugget and the boy did a cool handshake "I haven't seen you in ages!"
They both smiled at each other "What do you mean? It's only been a few months" Nugget laughed.
"You mind telling me who this is?" Jun asked.
"Oh.. this is my friend, Klaus. He'd rather you guys call him 07. So, 07, meet Jun and Edison, Jun and Edison, meet 07" He introduced them.
"07? The number?" Edison asked.
"Yes sir" 07 pats Edison's shoulders.
"Sorry for hitting you" 07 pulled Jun up and opened his door.
"Come in" He smiled.
Everyone entered the tiny shack to see it had a basement.
"Woah" Jun says as he's entering the basement.
They walk down the stairs and look at all the stuff 07 has.
"So... why's your name a number?" Edison asked.
"I don't know... I just like being called that" He answered.
"Are you also German like Nugget?" Jun asked.
"No, I'm American. An American-born American" 07 smiled.
Jun then gets a sudden attack of his visions. American?
"Bailey," He says "I'm a Bailey... Klaus Bailey"
Jun nods his head as they walk into the main room. Jun stopped to look at something unusual "What is that?" Jun pointed at a set of armor on the wall surrounded by glass. The armor is black and was made of full metal.
"That my friend, is the drip... I have to protect it with my life" 07 answered.
Jun looked confused "Why?"
"I don't know... but my latest memory was someone saying to protect it with my life... and bring it to... Earth" 07 replied with a serious face.
"I... see," Jun says.
"It's literally just an armor," Edison says to 07.
The room was quiet. 07 thought if he told them, they all would turn on him and kill him for the drip. But he decided to tell them anyway.
"The power this armor has can create a huge explosion, wiping out everything in its way. The radius is around 40,000,000 kilometers I believe.. and it's also the most powerful armor in the world. It has the oshir, kaimog dragon, kepdragons, and other dragon's powers fused into this armor including all the plasmas, electricities, and fires in this world" Everyone looked shocked.
"Fire? Plasma? What?" Jun asked.
"Too much to explain" 07 sighed.
"Why not hide it?" Nugget asked.
"I am hiding it," 07 said.
"What do you mean you're hiding it!? We could've gone into your house and taken it!" Nugget explained
While they were having conversations, Jun stared at the drip "Let's hope no one touches the drip..."
"Jun"
"Huh?" Edison tapped on Jun "The mission"
Jun realizes they've been wasting time, but he wants to ask one more question "What... what if we wore it?" Jun asked.
"If you wore it... you'll be the most powerful being alive, but... you will die a few hours after if you don't take it off because your body cannot handle the power it possesses"
Jun was surprised.
"You better not kill me and take it" 07 laughs. "Of course," Jun says "I won't... Protect it"
"Yep, that's what I'm doing," 07 says while smiling.
"We have to go, Nugget, tell him about Izuzunu while we go explore," Jun said as he walked up the stairs.
"What is Izuzunu?" 07 asked.
Jun opens the doors. "Ew.. I forgot we were in a freaking swamp!" Jun said as he stepped on wet mud and grass.
"Alright.. let's go this way" Edison pointed forward.
Edison and Jun began sprinting through the swamps.
"Wait!" Edison shouted as a figure slowly approached them.
Jun and Edison quickly stop "Yo! Who are you!" Edison shouted.
The figure dashes towards them with anger "Your worst nightmare!! Doomgaders!!" He swings his sword but Jun quickly dodges "Hey! Hey! We're on the same team!" Jun shouted back.
"No, we're not!" He dashes back behind a tree.
"You will regret destroying my house!!" He yelled.
"Wait! We're not who you think we are!" Jun shouted "We're not the Doomgaders! You can see by the clothes we're wearing! And, we're not blue!!" Jun explained.
He slowly peeks his eyes from the trees and looks at their clothing and skin "How do I know you're not lying?" He replied.
"We're enemies of the Doomgaders too," Edison said.
"Yeah.... they took our homes too... and even.... our families" Jun looked down, sad.
The boy puts his sword down and slowly walks to Edison and Jun "Sorry"
"No, it's fine" Edison accepts his apology.
Jun stared at the floor for a while, thinking about the war.
THE WAR
"It's okay... I mark this as my final day in this world... keep living... keep living and don't die... Jun.." Melanie's last words came into Jun's head.
PRESENT DAY
"You lost someone you love?" He asked.
"Yeah... but enough" Jun finally puts his head up and asks the boy "What's your name?"
"I'm Max" He answered, a teenage boy wearing a dark red cloak. He looks like a wizard. His hair is bright red and white with pink-colored eyes. He's definitely a druzel.
"Do you remember anything in the past?" Jun asked.
"Yeah, why?" Max answered.
"You're a druzel, right?" Jun asked.
"Yeah, why are you asking me these questions anyways!?"
"We're something called humans... and we believe we've been sent here by our own kind, but we can't remember" Jun explained.
"Oh... I've heard a lot about the Humans on this planet. Especially from Novishi" Max added.
"No, we're not Novishian humans... We're from Earth" Edison responds.
"Earth? What the hell is that-" Max tried asking, but Jun interrupted "Let's save questions for later"
"Come on, let's go," Edison says as they begin sprinting through the swamps again.
"Huh... it's funny how every new person we meet always attacks me first" Jun laughed.
"By the way, where are you guys from? Don't be kidding me you guys are swamp people" Max thought.
"We're Izuzunians" Jun answered.
"Woah! I heard about you all! You guys are the Diamond Country! But... why are you guys this far out in Uapeisios?" Max questioned.
"Because.. wait- what-?? What's Uapeisios again!?" Edison questions.
"Well, no one gave us maps or anything, because we don't have any allies on this planet... We'll probably go befriend Feiburg Kingdom or something" Jun included "And Uapeisios is a Continent on Kepkury" Jun also answers Edison's question.
IZUZUNU
"Oh! Angie! That's my name!" A girl shouted at Mikey, remembering her name. She had brown hair and brown eyes. Her outfit is a bit ripped.
"Angie? How about you join our country" Mikey suggested.
"Sure! But, I can't-" She gets interrupted by Chloe "Remember anything?"
"Yes but... how did you know?" She asked.
"This is getting annoying" Chloe sighed "I can't.. remember anything" She mocked every human in Kepkury.
"It's happening to all of us" Evelyn spoke out. "I see, this some kind of dream?" She laughed.
"No... it's reality" Chloe answered "Well.. if you want to get some shelter, at least help those guys over there build" Chloe pointed at Irene and George.
"Okay," Angie walks up to the roads they're building.
At the distance, Chloe spots Jun with three random people "Who are those guys?"
Jun points at each of them and introduces them to one another.
George, Irene, and Angie stop the building to come listen.
"This is Moises" Jun pointed at a boy wearing a black and purple outfit, black hair almost the same as Jun's, but a little shorter.
"This is Max" He pointed at Max who's wearing the wizard cloak.
"Last but not least, 07" He pointed, 07 wears some sort of brown pants and jacket with a writing that says "Nutella"
"What's Nutella?" George asked.
"Chocolate!" 07 answered with a thumbs up and a smile.
"This is Angie, our newest member" Chloe grabs Angie's shoulders.
"Well, let's get back to work, I think we're done exploring. Max told me that we're way farther from home now... so we'll have to live here from now on" Jun suggested.
They all went and built more and more. Jun builds his first house on top of a mountain in the middle of the town.
He has a nice view of the world from there. Mikey's house is also on a mountain, George's house is surrounded by the mountains next to the lake, Chloe's House is beside the lake, Angie's house is next to Chloe's but sort of on a mountain flat, Max's house is on the top of the lake, mostly next to the river, Moises's house is back at where they woke up at.
This place is looking a little more like a town.
"Are you sure you want to move in with us?" Nugget asks 07.
"Yeah, sure, let's just build our house somewhere far together" He suggested to Nugget as they both agreed and moved out of the swamp.
07 carried the drip in his bag making sure he didn't damage it or anything.
IZUZUNU
"Jun, I'll be living with 07, somewhere far. We'll come and visit sometimes" Nugget told Jun.
"Okay," Jun replied.
Jun pulls 07 to the side and whispers "Hide the drip, make sure no one knows about it"
"I got it" 07 replied while lifting the bag up.
"See you later," Nugget and 07 say their goodbyes to everyone and head east.
"Well... I guess Nugget has changed" Jun said as he smiled "Into a good person"
"Oh yeah look, you stepped on dog poop," Chloe said.
"What!?" Jun shouted.
