"Jun... give up" Nugget says.
Jun then looks at Nugget dead in the eyes.
"You'll pay!! For killing my friend!" Jun jumps up and slashes Nugget's chest as Nugget tried to block "Gah!"
Nugget backs away as Jun start charging towards him.
The rest joins in and start attacking the Doomgaders.
"Get them!" Eungi shouts.
Jun knocks Nugget to the ground and kicks him into a nearby building.
"This is what you've wanted, huh? To fight me?" Jun asks.
Nugget remembers what he said back at the election stage.
He then smiles "Yes" He kicks Jun in the face as Jun falls to the ground.
Nugget quickly stood up and swings his sword around "Sweeping" Nugget swings as Jun dodges the attacks.
"Oh yeah.. have a taste of mine!" Jun does the same "Sweeping".
Nugget dodges the attacks and dashes to Jun "Hah!".
Nugget cuts Jun's arms.
Jun holds it in pain "God damn it"
Jun charges at Nugget and their swords cling "You really are weak, Piller is right" Nugget says.
Nugget kicks Jun in the stomach and throws him into a building. Jun tries to get up but Nugget's sword held Jun down as Jun blocks it.
"Shit" Jun spoke.
RISE OF IZUZUNU
VOLUME 2, CHAPTER 15, THE DOWNFALL
EAST CHINATOWN
Mikey opens his eyes as he jolts back up "What the-" he says.
"I'm so... tired" He rubs his eyes and looked at the palms of his hands "Aah!"
George wakes up "What happened!?" He looks at Mikey's hand.
George rips a piece of his shirt sleeves and wraps it around Mikey's wounds. He does the same to his wounds.
"Let's get back to the rest- Ouch!" George suddenly falls to the ground.
He couldn't walk, his legs were too injured.
"George!" Mikey checked on George "I got you" Mikey carried George.
"Come on," Mikey says "We have to go to West Chinatown"
WEST CHINATOWN
"Piller!" Eungi shouted as he slowly walked to Lord Piller.
"It's over," Eungi says as he points his sword at Piller.
"Yes... I think it is over" Piller says as he also points towards a direction.
He points at Diamond Valley and Modern City "Look as all of the Izuzunians die in our hands... you're outmatched" Lord Piller says.
"No..." Eungi looks down.
"What's wrong Eungi?" Kyle asks.
Eungi points at the city "The rest of the Druzels".
Kyle looks and is frightened. All the Druzels are getting attacked and dying. The buildings fall and collide into each other. It's like hell. It is hell.
"Oh no," Kyle says.
"Yeah, I told you your Empire is weak," Piller says.
"Why do you keep saying Empire?? We've never called this place an Empire, it's a peaceful country and you've just ruined the peace!" Eungi shouted.
"Peace?" Lord Piller asks "Haha, don't make me laugh.. This planet... Kepkury.. is not a peaceful planet. With the brutes and everything that comes to attack you... it's not peaceful" Lord Piller explained.
"Yeah, well you're worse than the brutes... you're a real monster, a dirty scum" Eungi insulted Piller.
Lord Piller looks at Eungi "Hm"
"Say that to your parents in heaven," Lord Piller says.
"My parents aren't dead," Eungi says.
"You sure about that?" Piller points to Eungi's house and everywhere "You sure they aren't dead? Hahahahaha!!" Lord Piller laughs as Eungi's face is frightened "No! They're not dead!" Eungi starts running to his house.
"You truly are evil, Lord Piller" Kyle runs to Eungi. He passes by the rest fighting.
"Where are they going?" George asks.
"I don't know" Mikey replied.
"It's time... for you both to die" Lord Piller walks up to Roselyn and Kayla.
Their tears fall from their faces. Piller blasts shards from his knuckles, decapitating Roselyn and Kayla. Their blood splattered onto Lord Piller's face as he smiles.
"Blood.. Hahahahahaha!! Izuzunians!! Welcome to hell!!" Lord Piller laughs hysterically.
It's not looking good for Izuzunu. Their flags and buildings fall to the ground.
"Nugget..." Jun is weak as he falls to the ground.
"I will... kill you" Jun slowly mumbled.
"Kill me? Haha, no" Nugget kicks Jun in the face.
Jun then jumps to the skies and comes down kicking Nugget in midair. Then he punches Nugget in the face.
"You will die for killing Coen!" Jun stabs Nugget on the leg "Gah! You stupid-!" Nugget punches Jun but Jun manages to dodge.
Nugget then stabs Jun in his stomach "Gah!" Jun falls to the ground in pain.
"Die Jun... Die!" He raises his sword up and aims it at Jun's head.
"How does it feel? This country's gonna die after two months" he smiles.
"I thought you were aiming for President," Jun said.
"I'm over that... now I just want to destroy this country, hahaha!" Nugget laughs.
"Eungi! Eungi! You okay!?" Kyle enters Eungi's house and stops.
Eungi sat there on the floor crying.
"What's wrong-" Kyle notices a man and woman dead on the floor, it's his parents "Oh no... Eungi.. I know this is tough for you. You know what, just stay here for now" Kyle said as he slowly sat down with Eungi.
"My parents... I can't believe they... they're dead" Eungi grabs his parent's hands.
"Rest in peace, Mom and Dad," He said.
Kyle is also very emotional with Eungi.
"Yes... rest in peace" He said.
YEARS AGO
"Mom, dad" Eungi says.
He's a little boy. An eight-year-old boy walking with his parents to the store in his village "So.. where are we going?"
"Don't worry honey, we're taking you to a special place" His mother said.
"Yes, you'll be shocked" His dad laughed.
Soon after, they arrive at a house, a random house. Eungi wondered whose house this was.
"Who's house is this?" He asked.
His mother answered "Go inside"
He goes inside the house for a surprise!
"Surprise!!" The entire room shouted as all his friends threw glitter at him "Aah!!" He screamed out.
Everyone laughs "Happy Birthday! Eungi!"
Eungi was scared as he fell to the floor "Oh... my... god... I think... something came out"
"Oh..." His friends say as Eungi stands up and walks toward the bathroom.
After changing his pants he went on to hang out with his friends outside in the backyard "This is fun"
"It is, isn't it!" His friend shouted.
It is Eungi's birthday. The sun shines directly below them. Eungi and Shalana are leaning onto a fence, looking at the distance of the mountains.
"But.. Shalana" Eungi says.
Shalana answers back "Yes?"
"Are you... in love with someone?" He asks
"Yeah"
"What?" Eungi was shocked as he stops leaning on the fence.
"Hm?" She questions.
"Who?" Eungi wanted to know.
Shalana stopped leaning on the fence and looked directly at Eungi "A boy... he's cute.. he has a nice smile.. he's super funny" She said while laughing "Black hair, blue eyes, and is very good at fighting"
"Who!? Can you tell me his name, please? I promise I won't tell anyone!" He shouted.
She became quiet. All you can hear is the wind blowing and kids playing in the background.
Then she answered "You"
Eungi's face turned into shock as he gasped.
Shalana was smiling "I love you"
After having fun and playing with friends. The birthday was over. He turned 9.
"Bye Eungi!" She waved.
"Bye Shalana!" He waved back as he ran to his parents.
Back at home, Eungi laid on his bed "Shalana"
She was all he could think about.
"Hi, honey" His mom walked into the room "Me and your father have a surprise for you"
"Oh, what is it?" Eungi asked.
His dad hands him a present wrapped up in colorful papers.
"Open it," They both said.
Once he opened the box, his face was full of surprises "No way... No way!!"
It was a diamond sword "Oh my god! Thank you so much!" He hugs both his parents.
Eungi began tearing up "Really... thank you"
"I can become... a soldier now that I can practice with this sword every day!"
"Yes, you would! Honey!" His mother smiled.
And to this day, Eungi still has the same diamond sword.
"Thanks... Mom, dad," Eungi said as Kyle watched Eungi.
WEST CHINATOWN
"Gah!" Jun's wounds began to open.
The cut was very deep as Jun tried to stand up. There was blood everywhere all around the battlefield. Jun slowly walks over to Nugget, but he quickly kicks Jun back to the ground.
"You're too weak to fight," He says to Jun.
"You should rest now," Nugget says as he walks away.
He slowly bleeds out, more blood spewing out of him.
"Jun!" Mikey shouted. Jun cannot hear.
He spots Melanie on the floor next to him and slowly crawls to her with only his hands. His wounds drag onto the floor. Jun can feel the pain but doesn't care and wants to go to Melanie.
"Sister," Jun says.
He finally reached her a few seconds later and grabbed her arms "Melanie" Jun cries quietly.
"You-.. you're my little sister," Jun says as his tears begin to cover his face.
"I'm gonna die... right here.... in the same spot as you," Jun says looking at Melanie. He lays there, weak.. and can't get up.
In Eungi's house, he's all cheered up.
"I'm done... I can't look at them like this" Eungi says to Kyle.
"Let's go back to the fight," Eungi said as they both got up from the ground.
They run out of the house all ready to fight until he spots Jun on the floor.
"Jun!" Kyle shouted as he ran as fast as he could to Jun.
He grabs Jun and looks at him "Hey! Are you okay? Jun, say something" Kyle said.
"I was just having a chat... with Melanie," Jun said.
"Jun.. we gotta stop your blood from pouring out of your wounds, come on" Eungi and Kyle carry Jun through the battlefield.
"Jun!" Chloe shouts as she and the rest run to Eungi and them.
"He's badly wounded! Come on! Hide in my house!" Eungi suggested as they all ran into the house and closed the doors.
The Doomgaders are all left outside. They surround the house.
"Open up! Izuzunians! Hahaha!" Lord Piller laughs.
"There's too many of them," Mikey says.
Outside the house, the Doomgaders were having conversations about plans.
"You know what... they're too weak," Nugget says.
"Why not let them recover for tonight?" Nugget suggested.
"No! Why!?" Lord Piller asks.
"Well.. we have all the night to loot Izuzunu" Nugget says.
"You're right!! Let's go loot Izuzunu and leave these fools!" Lord Piller shouted.
"Let's go get some diamonds!!"
"Yeah!" They all shouted as they began running to town.
"They left," Mikey said.
"Yes.. we heard... they're gonna loot Izuzunu," Kyle said.
"Help me," Eungi asked Kyle to help him prepare the bandages for Jun and the rest.
"Here, take this" Kyle hands Chloe a bandage.
Kyle hands more to George and Mikey.
"This is bad" Kyle included "It's just up for the six of us".
"Yeah," George said "We started out with like what? Ten? This didn't go as planned"
"Well, we didn't plan anything," Eungi says while rolling Jun's bandage.
"Are they really leaving us for the night?" Chloe asks.
"We don't know, we can all rest, but one person keeps watch at night for about one hour and then up to the next person" Eungi planned.
"Yes, we all take turns," George says.
"Yes"
"Does... anyone know where Edison is?" Kyle wondered.
"Oh... I forgot about that guy, I have no clue though" Eungi answered.
"He went... out with his girlfriend" Jun whispered.
"Oh, you're right" Chloe realized.
"He's over there in heaven and we're having hell over here" Kyle made a statement.
"This... is probably the worst day in Izuzunu history," Jun said to everyone
"Yeah... you're right," Mikey says.
"I'm going to sleep," they all said except Kyle.
"Oh come on! I have to watch first??" Kyle asked.
"Yes," They all said as they got into sleep position.
Kyle made a mad face, grabbed his sword and walked out of the room "Whatever"
30 minutes later Eungi is up.
"Mom... Dad... I'm sorry" Eungi closes his eyes as some tears pours out.
"I'm sorry I couldn't protect... you"
