The voice echoes in the distance. He couldn't keep his eyes open. He feels... the feeling of the sun's heat in his face... and.. sand. George hears gunshots.. like a warzone.
George suddenly wakes up with a hard inhale. It's noon. He's still in Izuzunu.
George held his head "What type of dream was that? Was I in a desert?.. anyways, I gotta get ready"
At the stage "Alright" Jun gladly smiles as he jumps from his bed "The First Election!"
Everyone is excited to see who becomes the new president of Izuzunu. Cheering and voting.
Edison is one of the candidates. A 15 year old human boy.
"I've been waiting for this moment" Edison smiles as he dresses up in a nice clothes.
George sits at his house, dressing up too "I'm gonna win!" George is very confident.
"Yeah George, you'll win" Mikey assured him.
But Mikey had a dirty secret he kept from George.
YESTERDAY
"Come on, tell me" Jun runs into Mikey as he's walking to the dog park.
"Uhh.." Mikey said "I'm- I don't even know yet"
"Aren't you gonna vote for your best friend George?" Jun asks.
"Yeah but.. I don't think George being a president is good, because he doesn't have the right to do it" Mikey says.
"No, he has rights" Jun says "This is a free country, man"
"That's not what I meant.. all I saying is that, I'm voting for Edison" Mikey simply says.
"Oh.. haha" Jun laughs "You're not gonna vote for your own best friend!" Jun smiles.
Mikey laughs along with Jun "Because.. I don't know... I feel like.. he's too dumb to be president"
"BRUH!!" Jun shouted and laughed "Damn!! What the hell, you gonna do him like that!!?"
"I have no choice, bruh!" Mikey shouted "Where you going anyways?" Mikey asked.
Jun points at his dogs below him "Take the dogs out man"
"Oh.. of course" Mikey pets the dogs.
"Well.. I gotta get going home, I'll see you at the election tomorrow" Mikey walks off.
"Yeah, see ya" Jun replies and waves his hands goodbye.
As Mikey was walking away, he makes a face. A face that looks like he's in pain.
Mikey held his head "Ugh" Mikey mumbled "What was that"
Mikey suddenly jolted his entire body as his mind goes insane. He falls to the ground. His head gets filled with a bunch of new memories.. or... old memories.
"Jun!" He shouted as Jun turns around quickly "... we have a problem"
RISE OF IZUZUNU
VOLUME 2, CHAPTER 11, THE FIRST ELECTION
PRESENT DAY, IZUZUNU
"Welcome everybody!" Jun greeted as he stands on top of the newly build Election Stage.
Everyone cheered. "Woo!" "Yeah!" "George is gonna win!" "Edison is gonna win!" "Yay!" "It finally begins!"
"Settle down guys" Jun says.
"Today!.. is a special day!.. Today, I will no longer be President of Izuzunu anymore. We will be electing a new president that will guide us to the future of this town" Jun said "First... we have to get the candidates on the stage, right? Right"
"Here comes.... George!" Jun shouted as George comes running down the steps and up the stairs to the stage.
"What's up people!" George shouted as he goes to the right side of the stage.
"It's me! George!" George shouted as the crowds cheers George on.
He smiles as he's very confident in winning the election.
"Here we have... Edison!" Jun shouted.
Edison comes running through the steps and onto the Election stage "Sup people!" Edison greeted the crowd as they cheer Edison on.
Edison goes on the left side of the stage.
"Alright! Can we begin?" Jun asks the two candidates "Yes"
"The first candidate we'll be looking upon on is George!" Jun takes out a piece of paper
"George... with the reckon.. of... 47 votes!" Jun shouted.
"Woo!" "Yeah!" "He's gonna win!" The crowd shouted as George smiles.
"You think you got the dub?" Jun asked George.
"Yes, I believe I did, I mean come on, look at the ground floor. There's probably about 60 people here" He replied.
"Sure" Jun says as he turns back to the papers.
George becomes a bit worried he was gonna lose.
"With Edison!" Jun takes out another piece of paper with Edison's votes "With the reckon... of..."
Jun is silence. Everyone wondered why. But Jun was still smiling.
Then the silence broke as Jun shouts out Edison's votes "89 votes!"
"What the fu-!" George screamed out.
"Woo!" The whole crowd jumps off their chairs and start clapping their hands and jumping.
"Edison wins! The First Election!" Jun smiled.
Everyone joined and cheers for Edison.
"Let's go! I had no idea I'd win" Edison shouted.
George sat there on the stage "Oh.. come on"
George was very disappointed.
"Settle down people!" Jun yelled "Edison.. may you give us a speech" Jun walks away from the middle of the stage.
Edison walks to the middle edge "Well guys.. I didn't know I would actually have won-" Edison has been rudely interrupted "Wait!" A random person in the distance shouted as he walks closer to the stage.
"Let's have a duel" He takes out his sword and points at Edison "A duel to determine who will become real President of Izuzunu" He said as he smiled.
"Who are you?" Jun slowly looks down "My name's Nisse Heinrich, but you're better off calling me Nugget... and I will be the new candidate" He replied.
"Nisse Heinrich? Isn't that a German name?" Jun covers his mouth and thinks "Wait, German? What even is a German-?"
Edison shouted out "No, we don't even know who you are-!" Nugget throws his sword at Jun but he quickly dodges.
Jun yelled out "What the-!"
Nugget looks at Jun dead in the eyes "Let me be President"
"No"
"You will regret that decision" Nugget says as he slowly walks up to the Election Stage.
He grabs his sword "You should be prepared... they're already almost here"
He jumps off the stage and walks away "Wh- who?" Jun asked.
"You'll see" Nugget said.
Edison looks at Jun "Who was that?"
"I have no clue" he replied.
"Alright guys... let's just continue the speech" Jun assumed it was okay to continue.
Nugget walks away from Izuzunu as he passes the border.
"Is this really something we should ignore?" Kayla asked.
Chloe answers "I don't know"
"Hmm.." Kayla thinks.
THE PINE FOREST
Coen pants as he runs through the forest "I gotta get there fast before it starts!" He ran faster and faster.
He didn't bring any backups "Shit! Forgot my backups!" He shouted "Forget it, I can do this by myself"
Coen jumps onto the trees and stop "It's... too far"
He rests for a little while as he looks at the world.
"Why didn't I just stay for a little longer... I just had to go like that?" He asks himself. "I gotta get Summer quick"
Coen gets up and starts dashing through the trees like a ninja.
He finally gets out of the pine forest and into the plains "Out of the forest"
He sees a village nearby "A village?" Coen dashes through the plains and into the village.
He looks up to a building that says "Hotel"
"I guess I should rest" Coen says as he enters the building
He's been running for a few hours now.
"Hello, sir. Uhm.. one night" Coen says as he takes out his money.
"Oh, no it's okay, this hotel is free!" The clerk says as he grabs out a few keys.
"Here's the key, mister"
"Thank you so much, kind sir" Coen leaves to the room number.
"I guess... I should rest for a few hours and begin running back to Izuzunu" He made a plan "But.. let's go to bed"
He laid himself down onto the bed and closes his eyes for the night.
JUN'S HOUSE
"Who was that?.." Jun asks himself again and again.
Nugget was a mysterious person.
"He said someone's coming to us" Jun turns his head towards Edison as Edison is cooking in the kitchen with Chloe.
He quickly stops "Don't worry about it, mate. It's probably just some prank" Edison says as he walks to the door "I have to go somewhere.. I'll see you in a few days" Edison smiled.
"What? Where you going? You've just became president" Jun asked as he gets up from the chair.
"None of your business, Jun" Edison smiles as he closes the doors.
Jun watches from the windows and sees a girl outside his house.
Edison walks up to her and hugs her.
"Girlfriend?" Jun wondered as he goes back to his seat.
"Here Jun, some steak" Chloe puts a plate of steak down on the table.
"Oh yeah!" George shouted "This will cure my depression of losing the election" George sadly says as he bites into his piece of steak.
"Jun, don't worry about that right now, okay? Let's just enjoy these yummy foods!" Melanie exclaimed.
"Yeah" Jun smiled back, but he still thought about what Nugget said to him.
Everyone sat down and takes a bite "Mmh!" Kyle enjoys the food.
"You're a great cook!" Kayla says to Chloe.
They both smiled at each other.
Jun notices Eungi isn't here "Where's Eungi?"
"He's hanging out with his family right now" Kyle replied.
"How about Tidus and Collin?" Jun asks again.
"Yeah, they're out doing stuff" He replies.
"Oh.. well!" Jun laughs "We gotta celebrate the win for Edison even though he's not here!"
"Oh Yeah!" Chloe shouted.
"Yeah!" Mikey exclaimed too.
"Bruh" George said, still feeling down after the defeat.
"Don't worry George, you'll get another shot soon" Mikey says.
"Yeah... you're right" George stood up from the chair "Alright let's get this over with"
Jun grabs his sodizu, and everyone else grabs their sodizu.
"Alright! I wish Edison all the luck at being President of Izuzunu because there will be a lot of responsibilities, trust me" Jun laughs it off.
Everyone else laughs. "Yeah same" George and Mikey says.
"I think we should prank Edison when he comes back" Chloe laughs.
"Yeah! That's a great idea!" Melanie shouted.
"Hahaha, get him back for what he ddi to your sheeps!" Jun laughs.
"You did that too!" Chloe shouted back.
"Sssh" Jun holds his index finger on his lips.
"Anyways, I hope Edison will be a great president and help us and protect us and make food for us and eat for us and kalalaelele" Kyle says.
"Yeah, we all do, the kalalarlele part" Chloe laughed off along with the rest "Well... to President Edison!" Jun cheers "To President Edison!" They cheered along as they point their sodizu up and drinks.
Hours later after playing games and having fun all night, Kyle and the rest leaves for the night.
"Well.. it has been fun" Kyle says at the front door.
"Yeah, we should do this again next time" Jun smiles.
"Yeah" Kyle replied back as he leaves Jun's house with the rest.
Jun closes the door and locks it shut.
Jun quickly stopped smiling "I'm so tired, I wish to never do that again" Jun walks upstairs to his bedroom and drops onto the bed "It has been a long day"
Soon Jun wakes up to the sounds of clinging in the living room.
"What the?" Jun slowly wakes up from his sleep and walks downstairs with a candle. It's completely dark.
"Who's there?" Jun calls out.
He grabs his sword and aims to towards the room.
There stood.... Summer.
"Summer?" Jun was shocked.
"You're still alive!?" Jun shouted as he runs to her.
She then turned around quickly, and her face was covered in Blood.
"Ah!" Jun drops his sword and falls to the ground, horrified by the way she looks.
She has blood dripping from her nose and cuts and bruises everywhere on her face.
She is crying blood, and the kaishtau surrounds legs.
She looks almost as a zombie.
"Ah!" Jun is horrified.
"You left me there!" She spoke out "You left me there to die!" Summer screamed out as she rams her fingers into Jun's throat.
Jun falls to the ground and soon wakes up to the bright light from the curtains.
"Ah!" Jun shouted as he got up from the bed.
He is scared. He looks around the room and touches his throat. He realizes it was all just a dream.
"Summer.." Jun looks down at his hands "I couldn't save you"
CHINATOWN
At Chinatown, Kyle is just hanging out and chilling with himself.
"Wow, this new building looks nice!" He exclaimed.
He looks around for a bit but soon notices something in the distance.
"Hm?" He asks as he walks closer to it.
It's a string tied up with the houses in Chinatown.
"What is this for?" He asked himself again.
Then it leads to the back of someone's house, and it was filled with bombs "What the-!?" He shouted as the bombs exploded the houses, creating a huge crater.
The skies filled with debris and dark ash for a bit. Kyle's on the floor as he slowly gets up from the ground. He held his ears as the explosion was loud.
At the distance of the bamboos, he spots a group. A group with blue skin... yellow, red, and blue eyes, and armor. He soon realizes who it is, and his face is frightened.
Kalrhinos, Kalruts, Axers, Archers, and Mindmasters! Even more of them. They're all back, and they're back for more.
"Oh no..." Kyle said "The Doom Brigade is back"
