Ma Yu Xi began to notice that something was wrong when she saw her cousin turned around with the old woman. She ran over and grabbed Su Ruan's arms before she could leave.
"Sister Ruan, where are you going?" Her eyes widened as she looked at her cousin anxiously.
Su Ruan hesitated. Then, she turned to look at Ma Yu Xi with determination. "I'm going to find Ah Fei. Yu Xi, this is his nanny, Auntie Wang. She knew where he is."
Ma Yu Xi could not hide her surprise when she heard her cousin's words. Her grip around Su Ruan's arms tightened. "You can't leave." Ma Yu Xi saw the change in Su Ruan's eyes. Even though she could see the threatening look in her cousin's eyes, Ma Yu Xi was unafraid. "I can't let you leave."
"Yu Xi, this is important." Su Ruan thought of Long Fei's special body and what he had told her previously. "He needs me. Whether you let me or not, I am leaving."
Ma Yu Xi began to hesitate. "Then, take me with you."
"No."
