Once he had checked that Su Ruan had eaten her meal, Long Fei sent her to the bedroom and watched as she closed her eyes to sleep.
He waited a few minutes with her before he finally move to the next room to look at a few documents. Long Fei has been out the whole day to accompany Su Ruan and there were quite a few important documents that both Long Yu Heng and Fu Xing had sent to him.
It was shortly after midnight when he was finally done with the documents. Long Fei took a shower and went to Su Ruan's room to check on her.
He pushed the door gently and was surprised to see that the girl was standing beside the glass window to look at the night scenery before her.
Su Ruan noticed his presence but did not make a move to turn to him.
After a brief hesitation, Long Fei walked into the room and stopped when he reached her side.
"Why are you still up?" Long Fei asked. When he left a few hours ago, Su Ruan was sleeping soundly as she was too tired.
