Su Ruan sat on the bench while looking at the passersby, walking around in the garden. Her eyes finally stopped at the woman who was pushing her sick daughter in the wheelchair.
From the corner of her eyes, Su Ruan was watching her father who was sitting next to her. She could see that her father was hesitating for a long time. The man's lips parted a few times, but in the end, no word came out of his lips.
Taking a deep breath, Su Ruan decided to be the first to break the silence. "Dad."
Su Yu turned to his daughter. His lips curled into a faint smile and his eyes looked sad. "How much did you hear just now?"
"Just a little bit," Su Ruan said "I heard that you are discussing Qi Qi."
The smile on his face froze. Su Yu quickly looked away from his daughter.
"I also overheard my grandfather shouting at Qi Qi before he make her leave the room," Su Ruan said softly.
